Pharoh Cooper Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

NYG WR Pharoh Cooper, WR Alex Bachman, and WR David Sills elevated from practice squad

Pharoh Cooper, Alex Bachman, and WR David Sills have been elevated from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's game against the Chicag Bears. They will join Kenny Golladay as the only available receivers for the Giants as the receivers are still dealing with a multitude of injuries. Golladay will be the unquestioned primary target with Pharoh Cooper likely to see the most run of the practice squad elevations. Cooper can be considered as a value option but it remains difficult to trust the Giants offense especially with Mike Glennon and Jake Fromm expected to split time at quarterback.

Neither Myarick or Cooper is expected to be DFS relevant tonight and should only be used as desperation punt plays.

Damiere Byrd, Chase Edmonds Inactive Tonight for Cardinals

Edmonds had already been ruled out previously, but Byrd is a bit of a surprising inactive. He appears to be a healthy scratch just one week after playing 88% of the offensive snaps. His absence could open up opportunity for the WRs lower on the depth chart, such as Trent Sherfield, Pharaoh Cooper and Andy Isabella.

Cardinals RB David Johnson (Ankle) Expected to Play Today, WR Christian Kirk (Ankle) Likely Out

This is some of the biggest news of the weekend along with the Packers' injuries at receiver. Cardinals WRs KeeSean Johnson, Trent Sherfield, Andy Isabella, Pharoh Cooper, and RB Chase Edmonds could all see increased opportunityin the passing game with Kirk (ankle) out yet again.

Keeshon Johnson has seen an 18% target share when Kirk has been out and is an excellent value play in all formats, especially if Packers WRs Allen Lazard and Jake Kumerow don't become viable punt options. The matchup for Keeshon Johnson is great, too; the Giants allow the seventh most FPs to wide receivers and are 28th in DVOA against the pass.

Chase Edmonds truthers were teased for a second consecutive week, as David Johnson (ankle) is likely to suit up. David Johnson projects as a nice play especially on Yahoo and FanDuel, where he is a top-six point-per-dollar option.

Cardinals RB David Johnson Active, WR Christian Kirk Inactive

As expected, Johnson will play and Kirk will not. Chase Edmonds, who could have become one of the best value plays on the main slate if Johnson missed the game, is now nothing more than a large-field tournament dart throw. Meanwhile in the passing game, Kirk's WR2 target share will be spread among the rest of the Arizona pass catchers.

This game is projected to be one of the most fantasy-friendly of the main slate, with the O/U at 51 featuring two of the top five teams in pace of play. Arizona is terrible defensively against the pass, ranking 27th in DVOA. Plus, we all saw what Deshaun Watson and Will Fuller did to Atlanta last weekend, so there is plenty of fantasy potential for both teams.

Cardinals Sign WR Pharoh Cooper

Cooper is a return man and emergency depth option at WR for the Cardinals. While he won't be a fantasy factor, his addition is a sign that Christian Kirk is likely to miss some time with the ankle injury he picked up during Week 4.
