Rob Gronkowski Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections
TBB TE Rob Gronkowski expected to play Monday
Rob Gronkowski is expected to play Monday against the New York Giants after being listed questionable on Saturday. Gronkowski logged a full week of practice (aside from his usual rest day during the final practice of the week) setting himself up to reclaim his role as the top tight end for Tampa Bay and as one of Tom Brady’s favorite targets. If Gronkowski is active on Monday it will send both O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate back down the depth chart limiting their snaps. Gronkowski will need to be considered on Monday’s showdown slate as he is one of the top tight ends in the league and is in one of the most pass friendly offenses in football.

TBB TE Robert Gronkowski returned to practice Thursday; WR Antonio Brown DNP
Robert Gronkowski has returned to practice Thursday while Antonio Brown logged a DNP ahead of Monday's game against the New York Giants. Gronkowski logged a full practice setting himself up to reclaim his role as the top tight end for Tampa Bay and one of Tom Brady's favorite targets. This will send both O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate back down the depth chart limiting their snaps. Antonio Brown looks to be trending towards missing another week which will mean Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and Tyler Johnson will continue to lead the Buccaneers receiving corps.
TBB WR Chris Godwin a game-time decision Sunday; WR Antonio Brown and TE Rob Gronkowski ruled out
Chris Godwin will be a game-time decision Sunday while Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski have been ruled out for Tampa Bay's game against the Washington Football Team. Brown and Gronkowski were expected to be out and Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard should continue to split time at the tight end position in Gronk's absence. If Godwin were unable to suit up, Mike Evans would become the top receiver play on the slate and would need to be considered in all formats. Tyler Johnson and the potentially returning Scotty Miller would become great value options due to the expected volume they would be in line for. It will be important to check inactives 90 minutes prior to kickoff on Sunday for Godwin’s status as it could drastically impact lineup construction in all formats across all sites.
TBB WR Chris Godwin, WR Antonio Brown, and TE Rob Gronkowski all DNP Thursday
TBB WR Chris Godwin, WR Antonio Brown, and TE Rob Gronkowski all DNP Thursday ahead of Sunday's game against the Washington Football Team. Brown and Gronkowski are expected to be out this weekend but and Godwin's status is uncertain according to HC Bruce Arians. If Godwin were unable to suit up Mike Evans would become the top receiver play on the slate and would need to be considered in all formats. Tyler Johnson and the expected to be returning Scotty Miller would become great value options due to the expected volume they would be in line for. It will be important to check the injury report after tomorrow's practice and check Godwin's status as it could drastically impact lineup construction in all formats across all sites
TB TE Rob Gronkowski active Sunday
Gronk was ruled in Sunday; he was questionable heading in, but will make his return from a multi-week absence from a rib injury. Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard both will move to backup roles as a result.
TB TE Rob Gronkowski a game-time decision Sunday, but expected to play
Gronk's practice reports were promising and he was ultimately listed questionable heading to the big divisional clash against the New Orleans Saints. He's still going to have his status determined before game-time, but there's optimism according to Rapoport, so he should be back. If he can't make it, Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard would step in for more snaps.
TB TE Rob Gronkowski officially questionable Sunday
Although the Bucs will be without Antonio Brown once again, Gronk may be able to make his return for the Bucs battle against the New Orleans Saints. Gronk's been dealing with a rib issue for three weeks despite not being placed on I.R. If he plays, he'll take some targets away from Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. If he sits, Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard would split the TE snaps once again.
TB TE Rob Gronkowski limited again Thursday; WR Antonio Brown DNP again
The Bucs are looking to get one of their key offensive personnel back, but likely just one. Gronk had his second straight limited practice, and appears to be coming back from his multi week absence due to a rib injury. AB on the other hand appears to be further away; yesterday Coach Arians said that Brown may come back after the bye, and possibly even longer; it almost certainly seems as if he'll miss the game. As we saw last game, the concentration of targets towards Mike Evans and Chris Godwin make them both stellar plays, as the Bucs look to constantly throw the ball. Evans will likely be ruled out tomorrow, as he was last week.
TBB TE Rob Gronkowski (ribs) returns to practice Wednesday expected to play Sunday; WR Antonio Brown (ankle) not seen practicing
Rob Gronkowski returned to practice Wednesday and is expected to play on Sunday while Antonio Brown was seen with a crutch at practice. Gronkowski should return to his normal role as the Bucs top tight end moving O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate down the depth chart and sapping their value. Antonio Brown's status is a little more uncertain for Sunday. If he were unable to suit up Tyler Johnson would step into the WR3 role but as we saw last game (2 catches on 2 targets for 16 yards) most of the passing attack will go through Chris Godwin and Mike Evans (both with at least 10 targets). Godwin and Evans would both become much better plays and would need to be considered in most formats.
