Finnish rookie in prime spot to produce
Roope Hintz may be pointless this month, but he is seeing consistent ice time on the top line alongside Tyler Seguin and Alexander Radulov. Hintz closed March with a goal in back to back games, and though a road spot in Buffalo seems intimidating, the Sabres have been gashed after the All-Star break, allowing a league-high 3.78 goals against per game. Hintz checks in at under $4,000 on DraftKings and FanDuel which make him and his linemates an affordable, likely overlooked stack in tournaments.
This line will see plenty of high danger scoring chances
Alexander Radulov is fresh off a hat trick and in a great matchup again tonight. Chicago has surrendered the most HDCA/60 over the past month (15.31). The whole line skates together at even strength and on the power-play giving them elite upside.
Top line rookie looks to get back into scoresheet
Roope Hintz was tearing up the American Hockey League earlier this season, posting 22 points (9G, 13A) in 21 games. While he has yet to really have success at the professional level, Hintz could not ask for a better matchup than the Chicago Blackhawks who are allowing the most scoring chances against per 60 minutes (30.71 SCA/60) at 5-on-5. Hintz closed out February with a goal in back-to-back games, but has not found the scoresheet yet in three March games. Skating with Tyler Seguin and Alexander Radulov at even-strength, Hintz seems like the best cheap option (DraftKings - $3,700 and FanDuel - $3,500) to pick up a point of anyone on tonight's slate. He is viable in all formats.
Alexander Radulov is a game time decision tonight
The big news for this short slate is Alexander Radulov looks unlikely to play tonight which means someone will move up to the top line if so. According to @BruceLeVinePuck, Roope Hintz is the likely candidate. The second round pick from 2015 is nothing special, but as we know, anyone who sees minutes with the Stars' top line, especially on home ice, is in play. Hintz is dirt-cheap across the industry and really opens up roster construction.
