Ryan Dzingel Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections
This is one of the most underrated power forwards in the league
This line was dominant last game and there is some hope for them again tonight. Matt Duchene is centering Ryan Dzingel and Josh Anderson on the Columbus Blue Jackets second line. The one issue with this line is you are really counting on them at even strength. Dzingel doesn't play on the power play and Duchene and Anderson are on separate units. They have a matchup against the Carolina Hurricanes which is relatively neutral as of late, but Petr Mrazek in net gives some hope. He has struggled this season with a .908 save percentage and 2.53 goals against average. As the Blue Jackets continue to fight to keep their playoff hopes alive, the should be playing their best hockey.
Third line winger seeing top line minutes
Ryan Dzingel is fresh off a goal and an assist in the Senators upset of the Predators, and it has been a quietly productive season for Dzingel who has 25 points (13 G, 12A) in just 33 games. Dzingel continue to converts his shots at a high rate (16.7%) which is right in line with his number from last season (16.9%). The Devils have been a mess over the last month, and those looking to target against them will likely be looking to the Tkachuk, White and Stone line, so someone like Dzingel can offer differentiation. In the first meeting against New Jersey, Dzingel potted a goal and had an assist, and his price across the industry is affordable for someone who has shown a certain consistency throughout the season.
Multi-Goal Upside At Potentially Low Ownership
Often overlooked because of the team they play for, Kyle Turris and the top line of Ottawa make for an intriguing line stack that could go overlooked on tonight's nine game slate. Not required to play the tough minutes against the opposition's best scoring threats, Turris, Smith, and Dzingel will be taking on a rebuilt New Jersey Devils team that enters tonight's game with the highest xGA/60 on the slate. Also featured on Ottawa's top power play unit, look for this trio (paired with Erik Karlsson) to break through on the power play against an undisciplined New Jersey Devils team that has taken among the most penalties this season and ranks 24th in penalty kill percentage.
