Sean O'Sullivan Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

Sean O'Sullivan has a career 5.56 xFIP versus LHBs, while allowing a .390 wOBA

O'Sullivan is the prototypical gas-can that we love to attack. As much as O'Sullivan struggles versus LHBs, he has not been much better versus RHBs in his career (4.81 xFIP, .364 wOBA). Realistically, we can target any Angels batter in the order against O'Sullivan as they are currently implied to score 5.1 runs (third highest on the slate). Mike Trout (181 wRC+, .435 wOBA, .275 ISO vs RHP) is the elite option in the Angels order as he almost always is. C.J. Cron (130 wRC+, .361 wOBA, .195 ISO vs RHP) and Kole Calhoun (113 wRC+, .335 wOBA, .144 ISO vs RHP) are the other Angels bats that need to be included in any Angels stack as they are hitting in the top half of the order.

Sean O’Sullivan owned 10.7K%, 5.37 xFIP as a starter in 2015

Sean O’Sullivan was not a very good starting pitcher in 2015, as he owned a dismal 10.7K% to go along with a 5.37 xFIP and a SIERA of 5.18. He will be facing the Athletics tonight, who own a Vegas projected run total of 4.65. O’Sullivan shouldn’t be in consideration in any format tonight. While their offense hasn’t been overpowering this season, the A’s make for a legitimate stack target given the matchup. Josh Reddick (.403 wOBA vs RHP in 2016) and Stephen Vogt (.327 wOBA career vs RHP) represent the top plays, but realistically you can consider any of the hitters 1-6 when deciding your GPP stacks this evening.
