Shane Larkin and Sergey Karasev starting for Donald Sloan and Wayne Ellington
Shane Larkin will be making his sixth start of the season on Thursday. Larkin is a viable punt option due to the fact he is starting, but be careful because he has averaged 19.22 DKFP in those five starts. Larkin has scored over 30 fantasy points multiple times this season but has not shown anything against the Cavs. Expect Larkin to be owned more than usual due to the fact he is starting on a short slate. Sergey Karasev is a nice minimum salaried player and should see over 20 minutes on Thursday.
Shane Larkin and Sergey Karasev to move into starting lineup for Nets
Nets Head Coach Tony Brown stated today that Shane Larkin and Sergey Karasev would be moving into the starting lineup for the Nets. He also added that Wayne Ellington would see a decrease in playing time. This obviously eliminates Ellington from DFS consideration and puts the low-priced Larkin and Karasev into consideration depending on match ups. If those two are able to get 30 minutes or more of playing time, they will be excellent value options at their current price points.
Brook Lopez confirmed as the starter on Tuesday; Wayne Ellington starting with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson coming off the bench
Brook Lopez will return to the starting lineup against the Hornets on Tuesday. Wayne Ellington will also be in the starting lineup despite Rondae Hollis-Jefferson's return from injury. Hollis-Jefferson will be on a minutes limit and isn't a viable DFS option tonight, but his presence also eliminates the likes of Ellington and Sergey Karasev (who will be inactive). Bojan Bogdanovic should also be knocked down a tier due to RHJ's return. Lopez and Thaddeus Young are the two viable targets on the Nets side, with Donald Sloan being viable as a deep-GPP target.
Sergey Karasev starting over Wayne Ellington on Thursday
Sergey Karasev will be starting at SG but is a low-end DFS play against the Bulls. Karasev has not scored over 14 fantasy points this season, making it tough to recommend him even though he is starting. With Wayne Ellington going to the bench, he too is not a viable DFS option.
