Pistons starters: Blake, Hilliard, Baynes, Johnson, and Tolliver

The Pistons will be resting all their starters against the Cavs tonight. Steve Blake has the ability to fill it up be he will be hounded by MMatthew Dellavedova all game, limiting his upside. This game does not have much fantasy appeal and should be avoided on the Pistons side.

Steve Blake confirmed as the starter in place of Reggie Jackson

Blake will be replacing Reggie Jackson in the starting lineup. Blake is a minimum priced player across the industry and will be low-owned with the news coming so close to when lineups locked. Blake has some potential upside but faces a Miami squad ranked 1st in DvP and 9th in DRE vs. PGs over the course of the season. Expect all the rest of the starters to pick up the slack for Jackson but all of them have tough matchups against the Heat, making them only viable in GPPs.

Reggie Jackson (abodmen) ruled out on Tuesday

Reggie Jackson was a late scratch due to an ab strain. This was the first we heard of the injury so we'd expect Jackson to also be unavailable tomorrow. Steve Blake is expected to start in his place and we should have official word soon.

Reggie Jackson could rest on Tuesday but nothing is official yet; Steve Blake to start if Jackson is out

Reggie Jackson has only missed one game the entire season but could be rested tonight. The Pistons will be in the playoffs and are only fighting for a higher seed at this point. We should have an update soon with the Pistons starting in the next wave of games.

Reggie Jackson will play tonight for Pistons

He's still not feeling 100% after experiencing shortness of breath in the teams last game, but Jackson went through shootaround and will play for the Pistons tonight when they take on Sacramento. It's a juicy match up for Jackson as the Kings are 24th in PG DvP and 29th in fantasy points allowed per game but there is always worry that he might be limited in some fashion. He makes for an excellent GPP play and Steve Blake could see an uptick in minutes if Jackson can't give his usual allotment of minutes.

Reggie Jackson misses practice; status uncertain for Friday's game

Jackson had shortness of breath issues last night and missed practice today to visit the doctor. If he is unable to go, Steve Blake would become the likely starter and a value option for the Friday night slate. We'll update Jackson's status tomorrow.

Brandon Jennings will play tonight

After missing a good portion of the last game with a jammed ankle, Jennings will play tonight against the Bulls. He has yet to be relevant for DFS purposes this season as he's only topped 20 minutes of playing time twice in nine games and has only topped 16 FanDuel fantasy points on one occasion. This news also means Steve Blake will likely not get any playing time as he's been relegated to DNP status since Jennings returned.
