If you're looking to pick on a poor defensive, road tripping Eastern Conference team that will be playing on back to back games, consider attacking Pittsburgh with Calgary's top line of Sean Monahan, Johnny Gaudreau, and Michael Ferland. A matchup against a potent Penguins team that features Sidney Crosby may seem daunting, but they have been one of the worst defensive teams in hockey this season; allowing too many shots on goal and the most scoring chances in the NHL. Also featured on Calgary's top power play unit, this trio should be very active on the man advantage against a struggling Pittsburgh team that has taken the second most penalties and has struggled in the penalty kill department. If we take into account his price tag and his plus matchup on home ice, Brodie instantly becomes one of the top point-per-dollar plays on the blue line this evening in all formats.
