DAL RB Tony Pollard returned to practice Wednesday
Tony Pollard returned to practice Wednesday ahead of the Cowboys first round playoff matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Pollard should reclaim his role splitting time in the backfield with Ezekiel Elliott limiting both backs upsides. Elliot would be expected to see most of the high leverage touches while Pollard would mix in and play a larger role in the passing game. Both backs can be considered in DFS contests though they draw a tough matchup against the 49ers defense who limited the Los Angeles Rams last week to just 64 yards rushing.

Tony Pollard has been ruled out for Saturday's contest against the Philadelphia Eagles. Pollard is still dealing with the same foot injury that caused him to miss some games earlier in the season and will be forced to miss another. With Pollard out, Ezekiel Elliott will lead the Dallas backfield for however long Dallas wants to risk his health (this game doesn't matter for playoff seeding) with Corey Clement and JaQuan Hardy available to back him up. This will be a difficult situation to deal with in DFS as we don't know how long Dallas will play its starters.

Tony Pollard (foot) has been listed as questionable for Saturday's matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Pollard is still dealing with the same foot injury that caused him to miss some games earlier in the season and could be at risk of missing another. If he were to be ruled out, Ezekiel Elliott would lead the Dallas backfield and would become a much stronger play with Corey Clement available to back him up. It will be important to monitor Pollard's status when inactives are released 90 minutes prior to kickoff on Saturday as Elliott could become close to a must play on the Saturday slate.

Pollard should remain the backup for Ezekiel Elliott but both Elliott and Corey Clement could see more snaps than they are accustomed to with Pollard not fully healthy. Elliott becomes a slightly better play and can be considered in tournaments.
