The top line in Dallas is in a tough spot, but on home ice they are in play.
As the Dallas Stars host the Anaheim Ducks tonight, their top line is in a tough spot, but on home ice they are absolutely in play. With Alex Radulov expected to miss tonight's game, Tyler Pitlick played with Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn last game and that should be the case again tonight. He's not the best third-wheel and I wouldn't blame you for leaving him off your line stack but he's cheap so that could warrant a play. Seguin and Benn obviously make for a great two-man stack as the duo play together on the top power play unit as well.
Alexander Radulov has been ruled out for Tuesday's game
With Alexander Radulov ruled out tonight, Tyler Pitlick is expected to start on the Stars' top line, and while there is no guarantee he will stay there, Pitlick is a worthy punt at just $2,900 on DraftKings and $3,200 on FanDuel. Pitlick is nothing special, but he did find 14 goals last season. Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn can turn fool's gold into gold, especially against a Kings team that has allowed 21 goals over their last four games.
Get your kicks from this Dallas Stars youngster
Tyler Pitlick potted two goals last night against the New York Islanders, and while he has has never really been a big producer in the minors, his price is so cheap (FanDuel - $3,100, DraftKings - $3,400 and FantasyDraft - $6,500) that even a couple shots on goal makes him worthwhile. Pitlick's numbers will not jump out as he has just 12 points in 30 games, but his ice time is on the rise. Pitlick is averaging around 15 minutes per game lately and even finds himself on the top line with Jamie Benn and Radek Faksa. Need a pure punt? Take a chance with Tyler Pitlick.
