Tyreke Evans will be in the starting lineup (previously was listed as questionable) along side Cory Joseph. The pair can make for some good value in the Pacers backcourt, although beware that Edmond Sumner and Aaron Holiday are also expected to see run according to Coach McMillan. The salary you save will not be without some risk of its own.

Tyreke Evans (knee) listed questionable- with Collison and Matthews already out, the Pacers could be very light on ball handlers and shooters today. Evans is definitely one to watch here, since he would be a potential value play if he's able to go, but we will need to monitor his status.

Evans is a late addition to the Pacers' injury report and won't play in Tuesday's matchup against the New York Knicks due to personal reasons, marking the second consecutive game he has missed, though the prior contest was because of an illness. Even when he's been healthy, Evans hasn't had a significant role in the rotation following the arrival of Wesley Matthews, and he's played fewer than 14 minutes off the bench in each of his previous three games. Additionally, Domantas Sabonis returned from a five-game injury absence in Sunday's loss but was limited to just 20 minutes off the bench, which enabled Kyle O'Quinn to surprisingly remain in the rotation and log eight minutes of action with the second unit. However, assuming Sabonis and Myles Turner sees closer to their usual minute allotments in tonight's contest, O'Quinn should go back to being a DNP-CD candidate on a nightly basis.

Sabonis has officially been upgraded from questionable and will play in Sunday's matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers after missing five consecutive games due to a sprained left ankle, while Evans has been ruled out because of an illness. In Sabonis' absence, Kyle O'Quinn entered the rotation as the primary backup center and averaged 13.4 minutes off the bench in the previous five contests, while TJ Leaf averaged 13.2 minutes as the backup four over the same timespan. However, with Sabonis back in the fold and presumably not hindered by a minute restriction, both big men are in danger of being on the receiving end of a DNP-CD on a nightly basis, but Leaf did manage to record meaningful minutes in the three games prior to Sabonis' injury hiatus, giving him a decent chance of sticking in the frontcourt rotation moving forward.

As for Evans, his role in the rotation has been diminished following the acquisition of Wesley Matthews via the buyout market, and he was limited to 16 or fewer minutes in each of the two games prior to his most recent injury absence.

There's been no word of a minute restriction for Turner, so his return will almost certainly send Kyle O'Quinn back to the bench to resume his normal reserve role following a couple of solid fantasy performances in an average of 20.8 minutes in his two spot starts.
