Carolina center is riding three game point streak

With ownership likely gravitating towards the top in the form of Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, an opportunity presents itself in Victor Rask who has picked up a point in three straight games. Rask is dirt-cheap across the industry given his surprisingly poor start to the season, but he has really picked up things over the last month. Over his last 10 games, Rask has collected two goals and five assists and could slip through the cracks tonight given that Jordan Staal will likely be the more popular option. Rask has been seeing more time on the power play and has benefited from veteran Justin Williams' recent surge in production. Save some salary with Victor Rask.

This Carolina center should be up to the task

Victor Rask has come alive on this road trip after a disastrous first two months. His ice time is climbing, and because of it, Victor has tallied three goals in his last four games. Additionally, Rask is now centering the team's top power play unit as Jordan Staal is in a deep slump. Rask checks in far too cheap across the industry given his growing confidence and a favorable matchup against one of the worst teams in the National Hockey League. Carolina sits top five in SCF% in December, and while they have struggled to win games, they are certainly getting their best effort from Victor Rask right now. Take advantage.

Offensive Zone Dominance

If you're looking for a relatively low owned line stack on tonight's two game slate, look no further than Jeff Skinner, Victor Rask, and Elias Lindholm. Skating on Carolina's second line at even strength and the second power play unit, the Skinner line has generated among the most scoring chances in the NHL this season. Further improving the outlook of this line is the fact that home ice advantage will allow head coach Bill Peters to get his best scoring threat against one of the weaker defensive lines of Dallas and in key offensive zone faceoffs.
