Value Line Stack With Great Matchup

If you're looking for value in a line stack tonight, consider taking the second line of Chicago which features talented young playmakers Schmaltz, Hinostroza, and Debrincat. Fresh off a two goal performance in Sunday's loss to Anaheim, this trio of forwards has generated among the most shot attempts and scoring chances as a whole among road skaters on home ice this season. With home ice advantage on their side, look for head coach Joel Quenneville to get this trio in prime offensive zone faceoffs and matched up against one of the weaker defensive lines of Colorado to easily pay off their very attractive price tags in a game that should feature plenty of scoring.

Baby Blackhawk looks to get back into the scoresheet

Although Vinnie Hinostroza went pointless against the Minnesota Wild last time out, he had been riding a six-game point streak which saw him gather two goals and six assists in the process as Jonathan Toews, Brandon Saad, and he have developed some nice chemistry over the last two weeks. Hinostroza is a dirt-cheap option across the industry, and while the matchup is not the most appealing as Connor Hellebuyck has been lights out throughout the season, this is a big Friday night game at the United Center for a Chicago team looking to get back to winning ways. Hinostroza will also get a crack on the Blackhawks' second power play unit which should have their fare share of chances with the man-advantage as Winnipeg has taken the fifth-most minor penalties overall in the National Hockey League.

Blackhawk winger looks to spoil the Oilers' visit to Chicago

Who has been the most disappointing team in the National Hockey League this season? No doubt -- it's the Edmonton Oilers. After a promising campaign from a season ago, 2017-18 has been a disaster for Edmonton. The Oilers are allowing the second-most goals per game (3.33) in the Western Conference, and it is unlikely to get any better as Cam Talbot has been unable to duplicate his form from last season. It's possible that even career-backup Al Montoya could get the call tonight in Chicago. Either way, enough about Edmonton! Brandon Saad is riding a three-game point streak which has seen him take nine shots on goal in route to a goal and four assists. While Saad is not skating on the team's top power play unit, his chemistry with Jonathan Toews and new-to-the-top-line Vinnie Hinostroza who has potted a goal in his last two games. Hinostroza checks in as a nice punt given his top line role. Still, Saad, who although is a chunk more expensive than Vinnie, emerges as a fantastic mid-tier option in tournaments given the Oilers' woes.
