You can also bet during games through the live markets, where prices change as play develops. Eligible wagers may offer Cash Out, which lets you accept an early settlement amount. Availability can change, and the amount offered may be less than your original stake.
Trying the NFL Betslip
On the NFL page, each matchup had spreads, totals and moneylines side by side. There were separate tabs for matches and outrights.
I chose over 38.5 in the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cleveland Browns game and entered a stake of 20. The slip labelled the selection “Total Points Over/Under”: both teams needed to combine for at least 39 points for the over to win, subject to the market’s settlement rules. The betslip also displayed a potential return after I entered the stake, and below it, the slip suggested other bets through a “People who bet on this also bet on…” feature, which I thought was interesting. 888 also advertised BetFeed, which displays betting activity from other customers.
