Welcome to the Optimal League of Legends Tool for DraftKings!
We can now use our LoL DFS projections and bookmaker odds to simulate the outcome of League of Legends DFS events. Below, you will find a tool that estimates how often a primary team stack might appear in the winning lineup. The goal is to provide a simple metric to aid in your DFS decision-making.
This tool also features the results of a contest simulation executed under preset conditions. Using our simulation trials, we calculated the results of a simulated contest comparing 20,000 lineups against a simulated field of opponents. The resulting output provides you the ability to review the top lineups from that simulation for each player. There are multiple metrics available to sort and filter your results. You can also scroll to the bottom of each tab to download the lineups.
Note: This data is updated for each projected slate. You can always find the most up-to-date projections in our LoL optimizer, LineupHQ.
League of Legends DFS Optimal Lineups Tool
We use the odds of each matchup to run trials of a simulated “slate,” selecting the winner of each match based on the wisdom of the betting markets and historical match analytics.
From there, each player receives a projected range of outcomes based on their result. We generate a realistic and correlated value for both the winner and the loser in each trial and repeat as necessary to form a data set from which to perform evaluations. That data gets sent to the optimizer, and we build lineups and calculate the optimal roster percentage.
The Contest Sim works like this:
— The Sims data gets sent to an optimizer, and 20,000 lineups are generated.
— Each lineup is graded against a sample field of lineups in a contest simulation.
— The results of the contest simulation are tabulated, with the “grade” being representative of higher expected ROIs (based on the SIM).
— The best lineups for each player are presented for your interpretation, analysis, and hand selection.
Below, you’ll find the results for today’s action.
