NBA Player Props Today – Tuesday, November 21

Clint Capela Over/Under 10.5 Points

Last Friday, Capela scored 17 points on 11 field-goal attempts against the 76ers, who have allowed the 4th-most field-goal attempts in the restricted area this season. Tonight, Capela gets to face the Pacers, who are allowing the most field-goal attempts in the restricted area of any team in the NBA so far this season – and by a wide margin. Capela leads the Hawks this season in field-goal attempts per game in the restricted area. Atlanta and Indiana both rank in the top 3 in pace of play through their first 12 games, which means there should be plenty of possessions and more than enough shot attempts to go around. Capela should have every opportunity to hit the over on his points prop here.

Tyrese Maxey Over/Under 24.5 Points

Entering play on Tuesday, Maxey is averaging 26.8 points per game this season, including 25.7 points per game during the month of November. He gets a favorable matchup this evening against a Cleveland defense that has struggled against opposing point guards this season, allowing 28 points to De’Aaron Fox, 30 points to Stephen Curry, 43 points to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and 28 points to Stephen Curry. Maxey is a clear second option in the Philadelphia offense, behind only Joel Embiid. Expect Maxey to be competitive at this market number on Tuesday against a Cavaliers defense that ranks 17th in opponent 3-point percentage and 20th in opponent free-throw attempts allowed per game this month.

Dennis Schroder More/Less Than 6.5 Assists

Schroder has seen his assists per game plummet in recent weeks, and he is unlikely to see them rebound in a tough matchup against the Magic. From October 25th to November 2nd, Schroder averaged 9.3 assists on 14.5 potential assists per game, the latter of which ranked 6th-best in the NBA in that span. Since November 3rd, Schroder is averaging only 5.7 assists and 9.2 potential assists per game. He has not even been the leading facilitator on his own team during that stretch of action. Tonight, Schroder is likely to have a tough time against an Orlando defense that has allowed the fewest assists per game of any team in the NBA during the month of November.
