Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?

How do you plan to beat the field of opponents in the tournaments you will be playing? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: Even though these aren’t the most entertaining teams in the NFL, this should be a fun DFS slate. There are plenty of good options at the multiplier positions, which makes building lineups a lot of fun. My biggest fade is going to be Kyle Pitts Sr., who averaged only 9.1 fantasy points per game with Michael Penix Jr. under center last season. My way to be different on DK is to use Matthew Golden or Christian Watson at Captain. Both of these quarterbacks are pocket passers, so even if they have a big game, one of their pass catchers will likely outscore them on DK (especially on a per-dollar basis). On FD, I’m not getting too contrarian at MVP, but I like the idea of using Drake London at UTIL. He’s projected for low ownership and averaged 24 fantasy points with Penix under center last season.

headChopper: I am running 20 lineups, and I’ll break them into 4 different builds of 5 lineups each, with a different game script for each. The overwhelming scenario for me will be a close, semi-low-scoring game where Michael Penix Jr. and Drake London reconnect and Jordan Love does damage with his legs. In those builds, I also think we get a heavy dose of field goals, and I think the Packers’ kicker (Trey Smack) is absolutely the real deal and could end up optimal due to the distance he can kick from.

ncorfield8k: I suspect I’ll be underweight on Bijan Robinson at CPT/MVP and lean into the players with big upside at low CPT/MVP pOWN%. I particularly like Tucker Kraft, Drake London, Matthew Golden, and Christian Watson at the top. I’ll play a fair amount of Kaleb Johnson with the expectation that his role increases, but I’m also not going to completely give up on MarShawn Lloyd as a “pay-up-to-be-contrarian” option. Maybe this is the matchup Lloyd needs to get going.

Davis Mattek: I will be focusing on single-entry and 3-max contests. I will be playing the speculative chalk of Kaleb Johnson pretty heavily while also having Matthew Golden ahead of Christian Watson in my runs. Michael Penix Jr. will play much better than Cooper Rush, but in his first game back off of the ACL tear, I still think the Falcons offense will struggle, so the Packers should be able to play downhill.
