Sunday Games

Dallas @ Atlanta

Dallas Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Connor Williams (Q) Zack Martin (Q)

Defense – Antwaun Woods (D) Taco Charlton (O) Sean Lee (O) David Irving (O)

Atlanta Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – Deion Jones (O)

Fantasy Impact:

Dallas has a bunch of injuries on both their offensive and defensive lines coming into the weekend. Williams and Martin were limited in practice this week and carry a very real questionable tag. On the defensive side of things it looks a bit more rough with Lee ruled out on top of the defensive line being very thin. Atlanta should theoretically be able to control the front making their running game very interesting.

Atlanta is pretty clean on the injury report, but we have seen this recently and it is important to once again remind you that they are without several would be starters due to major injuries. Of note is that Jones is out but able to get some limited work in.

Carolina @ Detroit

Carolina Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – None

Detroit Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – Damon Harrison (Q) Ziggy Ansah (Q) A’Shawn Robinson (O)

Fantasy Impact:

Carolina does not have anyone listed that falls under this article. Just remember we have three would be starters on IR with two from the offensive line as well as their starting free safety.

The Lions are hurt on the defensive line as both Harrison and Ansah come into the weekend questionable and Robinson who provides depth already ruled out. Keep an eye on inactives here as they could be pretty thin on the defensive front. CMC is already on your radar, but this should only make things better.

Tennessee @ Indianapolis

Tennessee Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Quinton Spain (Q)

Defense – None

Indianapolis Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – Malik Hooker (O) Nate Hairston (Q)

Fantasy Impact:

The Titans remain pretty healthy overall with only Quinton Spain showing up on the report. He was limited in practice so keep an eye on the inactives prior to the game. Overall we are talking about a pretty small impact.

Indianapolis has been one of the most unlucky teams in the league when it comes to injuries and the big question mark right now is in the secondary with safety being extremely thin. I like the Titans skill guys beyond Davis to get a bump as well and possibly give you decent cheap options with the current WR injuries.

Tampa Bay @ New York Giants

Tampa Bay Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Ryan Jensen (Q)

Defense – Vinny Curry (O) Lavonte David (O) Justin Evans (O) M.J. Stewart (O)

New York Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – None

Fantasy Impact:

While the Giants come into this game very healthy we cannot say the same about Tampa Bay. With IR players counted the Bucs will be without six starters on the defensive side of the ball. It is hard to be overly excited about the Giants on offense, but this is as good as it gets for them.

Houston @ Washington

Houston Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – Zach Cunningham (O) Johnathan Joseph (Q) Aaron Colvin (Q)

Washington Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Trent Williams (Q)

Defense – Quinton Dunbar (Q)

Fantasy Impact:

The Texans will be without linebacker Zach Cunningham and the secondary could be thin once again with Joseph and Colvin limited in practice during the week. Washington likes to attack with intermediate throws and that sets up well here.

Williams makes his weekly appearance on the injury report for Washington and Dunbar is closer to doubtful than questionable considering the fact that he was unable to practice this week.

Pittsburgh @ Jacksonville

Pittsburgh Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Marcus Gilbert (O)

Defense – Stephon Tuitt (O)

Jacksonville Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – A.J. Cann (Q)

Defense – Marcell Dareus (Q)

Fantasy Impact:

The Steelers will be without starting right tackle Marcus Gilbert again and Tuitt joins him as the only two players ruled out due to injury. All things considered this team is to be played straight up.

Jacksonville is as healthy defensively as we have seen in some time. It has been a question mark at times and we will have to see how they respond with full strength.

Cincinnati @ Baltimore

Cincinnati Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – Vontaze Burfict (Q) Preston Brown (O) Nick Vigil (O) Dre Kirkpatrick (Q)

Baltimore Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Ronnie Stanley (Q) James Hurst (O)

Defense – Tony Jefferson (Q)

Fantasy Impact:

The Bengals are without a doubt one of the worst defenses coming in and the injuries have not helped. Burfict looks closer to a return getting limited work in during the week so keep an eye on that news specifically. Kirkpatrick is closer to probable after practicing in full. I like the Ravens offense regardless of who is playing QB in this one.

Baltimore remains beat up on their offensive line and now have a weapon in Jackson to move the QB out of the pocket to alleviate some of that pressure.

Oakland @ Arizona

Oakland Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – Gareon Conley (Q) Nick Nelson (Q)

Arizona Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – D.J. Humphries (Q) Mike Iupati (Q)

Defense – Robert Nkemdiche (Q) Budda Baker (O)

Fantasy Impact:

Oakland has potential to be thin in the secondary if either Conley and/or Nelson were to miss this game. The question is do you believe in the Cardinals to take advantage if they are indeed inactive.

The Cardinals are starting to get a bit more healthy, but still have injuries in key spots affecting this squad. A battle of two inconsistent teams is what we have here and the injuries to Arizona are similar to what we have seen from them for weeks now.

Denver @ Los Angeles Chargers

Denver Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Max Garcia (O)

DefenseBrandon Marshall (O)

Los Angeles Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – Joey Bosa (Q)

Fantasy Impact:

Denver is very thin on the offensive line with two starters on IR and backup thrown into starting duty Max Garcia out this week. Expect the Chargers to take full advantage and pressure the QB on a routine basis.

The Los Angeles injury report is pretty small this week, but one name sticks out as Joey Bosa got in some limited work during the week showing up with a questionable tag. Word is that despite only limited work, we could very well see him make his debut. I like the Chargers to get to the QB in this one.

Philadelphia @ New Orleans

Philadelphia Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Lane Johnson (Q)

Defense – Ronald Darby (O) Jalen Mills (O) Haloti Ngata (Q)

New Orleans Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Terron Armstead (O)

Defense – Marcus Davenport (O)

Fantasy Impact:

The Eagles took a huge hit in the secondary with Darby hitting the IR and Jalen Mills out as well. The Saints are not a team you want to play in this scenario, but here we are. I would imagine there are a fair amount of people who liked the Saints coming in and with good reason, this sets up very well.

New Orleans has a couple of familiar names on the injury report here and it does little to change your mind when it comes to the fantasy outlook on this game.
