Slate Overview
Happy Saturday Grinders, and welcome NBA DFS players to the NHL streets. If you are new to NHL DFS and are just trying it out during the NBA All-Star Break, I will break down a short bit of strategy. Stacking is very important for tournament success. Use our stack tools in LineupHQ to correlate your stack. It is very similar to baseball where you want to get the full hit, RBI, run etc. In hockey you want the shot, goal, and assist. You also should be wary of the chalky one-off like in baseball. For example, this evening Auston Matthews is going to be extremely popular. For good reason, he is one of the best players in the NHL going up against one of the worst teams in the NHL. However, if he has a big game, it is very likely he brings a line mate or two with him along for the ride. The bottom line is if you want to hit a ceiling score in GPPs and find separation to win, you will need correlation.
