Pepsi7's NHL Core Plays: Wednesday, April 4th

Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, our NHL experts will break down the day’s games from a DFS perspective. Find out who they are putting in their lineups and who is being faded below.

Wednesday, April 4th

It is hump day, and we will celebrate with three games of National Hockey League action. The St. Louis Blues, Anaheim Ducks and the Buffalo Sabres are tonight’s favorites, and none of the six teams hitting the ice are playing on consecutive nights.

GOALTENDER

NOTE: Make sure to check the RotoGrinders Starting Goalies Page prior to game time, to confirm that the goalies listed below are starting.

Jake Allen, St. Louis Blues – The St. Louis Blues are the biggest favorite on the board tonight as they host a Chicago Blackhawks team that has struggled to both win games and score goals (23rd overall in goals per game) in the month of March. The Blackhawks have been free falling for some time now, meanwhile the Blues are in a must-win situation tonight at the Scottrade Center, which moves goaltender Jake Allen to the top of my goalie list. Allen may not see the most shots on the evening, but he is our safest option for a win and therefore our top play in cash games.
