MLB PrizePicks Predictions Today
Mitch Spence – More Than 15.5 Pitching Outs
While it doesn’t feel great playing an Oakland pitcher outside of their home ballpark, this number on PrizePicks is still too low for Spence. He has eclipsed 15.5 pitching outs in 3 straight starts and has been one of the few positives for the Athletics this season. He projects for 16.3 pitching outs in the RotoGrinders projections, and this pick has a 63.5% win rate in the MLB Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks, which is the highest on the entire slate.
- PrizePicks PLAY: More Than 15.5 Outs
Ryne Nelson – Less Than 17.5 Pitching Outs
While Nelson has a very good matchup against the White Sox, this still isn’t a pitcher we can expect to get through 6 full innings very often. He has only done so 3 times this entire season, and the White Sox have actually been playing a lot better since Luis Robert returned to the lineup. Nelson projects for 16.5 pitching outs in the RotoGrinders projections, and this pick has a 61.9% win rate in the MLB Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks.
- PrizePicks PLAY: Less Than 17.5 Outs
Oneil Cruz – More Than 1.5 Total Bases
This is my favorite play of the night on PrizePicks, and it doesn’t really require a lot of in-depth analysis. Cruz is the best hitter on the Pittsburgh Pirates, he’s facing a pitcher who isn’t very good, and they’re playing in Coors Field. He projects for 2.8 total bases in the RotoGrinders projections, and Cruz boasts a .218 ISO and 62.5% hard-hit rate this season against RHP. Opposing pitcher Ryan Feltner has been far worse against lefties this season, giving up a .207 ISO while striking out less than 20% of bats.
- PrizePicks PLAY: More Than 1.5 TB
