Week 15

Tennessee Titans (-1) at New York Giants Over 43.5 1u

Coming off a 40-point whipping of the injury-ruined Washington Redskins, the Giants are doing everything in their power to kill their draft position, winning four of the last five games after being stuck on one win since Week 3. By employing a bold, unconventional strategy known as “Give the Ball to Your Best Players,” they’ve put up at least 22 points in five consecutive games. It is no coincidence that over the same span, they’ve rushed for an average of 150 yards/game, with only one game below 100 yards (97). With Odell Beckham, Jr. ruled out for a second week, it’s looking increasingly like Saquon Barkley season in New York – even Eli seems to be grudgingly admitting it.

It couldn’t come at a better time for New York. The Titans’ defense has been alright overall. It certainly helps when you face the Dolphins, Bills, Jets, and Jaguars twice, but they did also hold New England to 10 points. The strength has always been in their pass defense, though. They’ve allowed just one 300-yard passer all season (Carson Wentz, in overtime). They haven’t allowed even a 200-yard passer in three weeks. But their run defense has been suspect all year and has really broken down recently. In the last four weeks, they’ve allowed an average of 150 yards/game. A lot of that did come against the Texans (281), but only the Jaguars have failed to top 100 yards and only because it was a blowout.
