Buccaneers vs. Cowboys Same Game Parlay Picks for Today

Irving of the Buccaneers

The Buccaneers continue their resurgence in Dallas on Sunday night. Tampa Bay continues to win, hoping their streak culminates with a playoff berth and division title. The Cowboys are playing out the season but look significantly more competent of late. We are hoping for some fantasy and player prop fireworks on Sunday night in Dallas, Texas.

Broncos vs. Chargers Same Game Parlay Preview

Despite possessing a lead in the NFC South, the Buccaneers are not prohibitive favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Buccaneers are 4-point favorites on the road with ScoresAndOdds reporting most of the gambling action favoring Tampa Bay. The implied game total is 47.5 points with the betting action significantly more balanced. The recent form of the Dallas Cowboys keeps this betting spread far tighter than records would indicate at this point in the 2024 season.

The Buccaneers are relatively healthy, with the exception being their tight end. Cade Otton will be out with Payne Durham and Ko Kieft splitting the work in relief. Micah Parsons is likely to play for the Cowboys on Sunday night. CeeDee Lamb is in after missing practice, but Jalen Brooks will not play on Sunday Night Football. CeeDee Lamb has 20 targets over his last couple of weeks, with over 200 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Fantasy players who drafted Lamb in the first round and survived up to this point in the season are desperate for Lamb to go nuts in Week 16.

The Buccaneers are 93% likely to make the playoffs with a victory on Sunday night based on NFL.com projections. Despite the Falcons playing so badly in a victory that they made a switch at quarterback, the Falcons are very much alive in the NFC South. The Falcons possess the tiebreaker against the Buccaneers were the Bucs to lose on Sunday night. We shouldn’t expect the foot off of the gas pedal for the Buccaneers on Sunday night. We should anticipate plenty of Baker to Evans against the Cowboys.

Mayfield of the Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield is the prototype for fantasy football players in 2024. Baker is throwing the football a lot and scoring plenty of points. He also turns the ball over frequently. Tampa Bay ranks in the bottom ten in giveaways per game and has turned the ball over 2.3 times per game over their last three. While Tampa Bay pounded the Chargers, the Buccaneers tend to keep opponents around by not protecting the football.

Lucky for the Bucs, Bucky Irving is off the injury report and will play Sunday night. The combination of Bucky Irving and Rachaad White has been lethal recently. In Irving’s last two healthy games, the rookie exceeded 100 rushing yards. Meanwhile, Rachaad White has added double-digit carries, more than 60 rushing yards, and 3 touchdowns over the last few weeks. Dallas ranks 28th in yards per rushing attempt (4.8) on defense.

For the Cowboys, Dallas continues to struggle on defense even with some improvement over the last few weeks. One positive would be the Dallas pass rush. Last week, Dallas sacked Bryce Young 6 times. Dallas recorded 6 sacks a couple of weeks prior against the New York Giants. Over the last three weeks, Baker Mayfield has been sacked more than 9% of dropbacks. Micah Parsons and company will look to wreck the Buccaneers’ rhythm on Sunday night.

With so much at stake, the Buccaneers feel like a sure bet to win on Sunday night. That said, how will the script go? Can we find some props that work for Sunday night? Let’s build our same game parlay for Sunday Night Football.

Same Game Parlay Picks for Buccaneers vs. Cowboys

Bucky Irving Over 63.5 Rushing Yards

In many other NFL seasons, Bucky Irving would be running away with the Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Irving remains a sensation for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Since the Bucs turned over the reins to Irving as the primary option in the backfield, Tampa Bay’s season was rejuvenated. Now atop the NFC South, I wouldn’t expect Irving’s workload to diminish until the Buccaneers clinch a playoff berth.

In his last five starts, Irving has more than 70 rushing yards in four games. The only miss was a game with injury when Irving carried the football 4 times for 3 yards. Otherwise, Irving has been electric, averaging 5.6 rushing yards per attempt.

Given double-digit carries on Sunday night, Irving should play very well against a porous Dallas rushing defense. Irving is a fringe ladder play on Sunday night.

CeeDee Lamb 70+ Receiving Yards

CeeDee Lamb is carrying fantasy playoff teams over the last couple of weeks, paying off his draft price this season when it matters the most. Lamb’s 20 targets and 200 yards over his last two weeks were very timely for teams that survived the superstar’s earlier struggles.

Cooper Rush received the memo after a handful of starts: Get the football to your best player. Tampa Bay has allowed the 4th-most catches to the wide receiver position in 2024. We should expect Lamb to be targeted heavily on Sunday night as long as the Cowboys are still contending to win the football game.

Mike Evans 80+ Receiving Yards

Mike Evans has never had a professional football season with fewer than 1,000 receiving yards. With three games left to play and 251 yards to go, we can expect Baker Mayfield to use his top option on Sunday night.

Chris Godwin remains on the shelf. The Buccaneers never found a receiver to fill Godwin’s shoes. Instead, Jalen McMillan, Sterling Shepard, and others try to fill the gap. Cade Otton was one of the main beneficiaries to the Chris Godwin injury. With Otton out on Sunday night, the Buccaneers will need to turn to their star more regularly when not running the football.

I think Baker Mayfield looks to Evans often on Sunday night. We need to hope Evans catches a long pass early to keep this receiving prop in play in a blowout.
