DFS Tournament Report: NFL Week 3
A crazy Monday night saw some big shifts in the leaderboards. Some of the big names in the industry benefited from the offensive shootout including Maxdalury who took down three live qualifier seats on DraftKings and had numerous top ten finishes in GPPs. Former RotoGrinders employee, Haskele, took down a live qualifier seat on FanDuel and finished second in the $5M Sunday Million. Youdacao won the DraftKings $800K Blitz and also took down two live qualifier seats. Here’s a look at the final results for all the big GPPs…

Two garbage time TDs for the Chiefs has actually made things interesting but the failed two-point conversion should put an end to things. No lead changes though despite all the points. We’ll have a complete wrap up when the game ends.
11:10 p.m. ET
Another Rodgers to Cobb TD that surely changed things – let’s see just how much it did.
Haskele got that $200,000 pay jump in the FanDuel $5M Sunday Million and if Cobb can somehow get another TD he might just win this thing. Smackdown420 moved into the lead in the $1.5M Sunday Rush but he’s not out of the woods yet as geevus sits in fourth, 6.3 points behind with both Rodgers and Cobb.
Robbie622 still has the lead in the $750K Monster but maxdalury and his Rodgers-Cobb team moved into second and is 6.7 points behind. Maxdalury also has two teams in the top 10 of the Sunday Million now as a result of his Cobb-based teams. There is a new leader in the $500K Sunday Kickoff as tvc78 moved into first place with a team that has not only Rodgers and Cobb but James Jones as well.
Over at DraftKings, baggagclaim moves into fourth place in the MillyMaker but is still ten points outside of the top score. Mizikal moves into fifth place. KillerKowalski takes the lead in the $1M Play-Action. The rest of the leads remain the same but there is still some sweating left as a ton of teams have players still in action.

A Chiefs WR scores a TD! A Chiefs WR scores a TD! Stop the presses! Jeremy Maclin breaks the well-publicized the drought. It changes nothing in the GPP standings but still worthy of mentioning as the third quarter comes to a close.
10:45 p.m. ET
And just like that we have another TD after the Packers intercept Alex Smith and Rodgers connects with Cobb yet again. Let’s take a look at what that did to the standings…
A former RG employee, haskele has surged up to third place in the FanDuel Sunday Million. He’s a long way from catching the top score but just another .8 points will move him up to second place and an additional $200,000. Pretty sure Ethan is a Packers fan right about now. Smackdown420 is a mere .12 points behind dubdog454 in the FanDuel NFL Rush with James Jones left. He too is probably a Packers fan currently. Doosra, who has Cobb, moved to 5th place in that same event.
We’ve had a lead change in the FanDuel $750K Monster as robbie622 has ridden Cobb’s big game to the top and is now .22 points ahead of bcalicore. DFS legend maxdalury has made a massive move with Rodgers and Cobb on his team and he now sits in 8th place, 11.3 points behind the new top score.Miko8811 and billsfan7 now hold the top spot in the $600K NBC Sunday Night Showdown.
On DraftKings, KillerKowalski is now in second place in the $1M Play-Action and is 6 points behind the top score of runj with Cobb left. There’s a new leader in the $1M Kick-Off as mboyce1123 took the lead as a result of the Cobb TD. In the $600K Slant, melodicmarc still has the lead but now has a small sweat on his hands as dr_joee has moved up to fifth and is just a little more than 10 points behind.
Should be an exciting fourth quarter!
10:40 p.m. ET
Halfway through the third quarter and the defenses have taken over so far. The only significant change has been in the FanDuel $600K NBC Sunday Night Showdown where there is now a four-way tie for first place. Baggageclaim has moved into the top 10 of the DraftKings Milly Maker with James Jones on his roster but he’s still 20 points out of 1st. Regardless every catch from Jones gives him a chance at a significant pay jump.
10:02 p.m. ET
James “all he does is score touchdowns” Jones does it again with another TD reception from the golden arm of Aaron Rodgers. That causes some shifts in the leader boards…
On FanDuel in the $1.5M Rush, smackdown420 moves into 2nd place and is a mere 1.52 points behind the top score of dubdog454. The top score in the $600K NBC Sunday Night Showdown goes to urdaddy316 who is just fractions ahead of a group of players.
On DraftKings, Cobb has helped a few players move up the standings. KillerKowalski moves up to 6th in the $1M Play-Action and mboyce1123 moves up to 4th in the $1M Kick-Off. The latter has a legitimate shot at moving into 1st while Kowalksi will need a big second half from the Packers WR.

9:38 p.m. ET
A Mason Crosby FG for the Packers is good news for roons999 who moves into 2nd place of the $500K NFL Kickoff on FanDuel. Roons999 is currently 6.2 points behind the first place score of dubdog454 and will need some more Crosby points if he wants to take down the top spot.
9:26 p.m. ET
The Chiefs get back in the game with a long pass to Travis Kelce capped off by a Jamaal Charles TD run from inside the 10. There were no changes in any of the FanDuel GPPs. On DraftKings, thanks to the Kelce reception, hybridd23 moved into 6th place in the $1M Play-Action. Three more points will move him into 4th but he’s still 19 behind runj’s top score.
9:03 p.m. ET
The Packers march down the field again and Rodgers hits Cobb for another short TD pass. That moves robbie622, who has Cobb, into the top 10 in the FanDuel $750K Monster. He’s about 17 points behind the top score of bcalicore. In the FanDuel $600K NBC Sunday Night Showdown, there is now a three-way tie between venu753, alreis, and datsunmarcos71. There’s still a lot of play left in that two-game slate GPP.
At DraftKings, the only significant change was 180DegreesMiami who moved into 5th place in the $800K Blitz. He still has a long, long way to go to get to the top score of youdacao.
8:43 p.m. ET
That didn’t take long. Aaron Rodgers hits rookie Ty Montgomery for a short TD. That didn’t do much to change the scoring. Roons999 moved into 3rd place with the point he received for the Mason Crosby PAT. He’s still 11.2 points behind the first place score of dubdog454 in the $500 Sunday Kickoff on FanDuel.

It might have been the highest-scoring day in NFL DFS history yesterday as countless players put up huge numbers. It’ll take 300 to win the DraftKings MillyMaker and over 250 to win the FanDuel Sunday Million. We’ll be here to provide live updates throughout the Monday Night Football game between the Chiefs and Packers to see if anyone can move up the leaderboards. We’ll also take a quick look at the Live Qualifiers and who takes down the seats.
Here’s a quick review of the current standings, the current winning lineups, and the players that have a chance at making a lot more cash.

Hoothead topped 300 points with his incredible lineup (see image below) but still has a small sweat as baggageclaim sits just under 38 points behind and has James Jones remaining. Unlikely, yes, but after yesterday’s crazy action you never know. Another unlikely outcome would be a_birdie_a_day sitting in 332nd place, 54 points behind Hoothead. He has two players, James Stark and Travis Kelce, left to play.

Pahayward has the lead by the slimmest of margins and only needs to avoid a big game from Randall Cobb to take down the top prize. Mboyce1123 is the player with Cobb and he currently is in 32nd place, 22.64 points behind pahayward.

The best shot is haskele who has Randall Cobb left and is about 40 points behind in 68th place. Anything’s possible right?
