Our NFL Week 7 concludes with a Monday Night Football doubleheader, with the Ravens visiting Tampa Bay (Ravens -3.5, 50 total) starting at 8:15 PM ET, followed shortly by the Chargers against the Cardinals (Chargers -1, 44 total) kicking off at 9:00 PM ET. It’s our third MNF doubleheader of the season, and these slates are a favorite of mine, combining some of the elements of Showdown contests within a Classic slate format.

In Week 4, we had a solo winner for $500,000 in the featured DraftKings large-field contest, with 0.3% owned AJ Barner being the differentiator at the TE position. In the Week 3 MNF doubleheader, 15 lineups tied for 1st place, with Andrei Iosivas being the lowest-owned player in that lineup (11.1%). Even though it’s just 2 games, we’ve got full NFL DFS projections ready to go and Expert tags & analysis in our NFL DFS optimizer, LineupHQ.

Let’s sort through the positions and figure out what to do with our DFS lineups.

Running Raven at QB

A 2-game slate means we only have four QBs to choose from, and one QB is dominating pOWN%. Lamar Jackson is currently projected to be on 46.21% of DraftKings rosters, and this is difficult chalk to argue with. The Ravens are facing a Tampa Bay defense that has allowed the 4th-most passing yards per game this season, and the Ravens are favored in the higher-total game, giving them a 26.75 implied team total (the highest on the slate). The Ravens QB is averaging more rushing yards per game than he has since 2019, and he is averaging a career-high 254.8 passing yards per game at a time when the NFL is seeing it’s fewest passing yards per game since 2006. For cash games and smaller-field formats, Jackson deserves to be the first QB we look to get into our rosters.

But for large-field tournaments, does Lamar deserve to have almost as much pOWN% as the other three QBs combined?
