Slate Overview
Happy Saturday Grinders! We have plenty of action on this Saturday, with a two game NFL slate, a six game NBA slate, and of course my favorite, a thirteen game NHL slate! The Devils, Penguins, and Oilers are on the second half of a back to back. In terms of the injury front, the big news is that Auston Matthews should be returning to the lineup. He participated in morning skate between his usual line mates William Nylander and Michael Bunting. Max Pacioretty is hurt for the Carolina Hurricanes and won’t play in tonight’s game.
The first thing that really stuck out to me today is that pricing on DK seems pretty soft. That can be both a good and bad thing. While it is easier to make good lineups when pricing is soft, it can also lead to condensed ownership. I am hoping that due to the large slate, ownership won’t get too carried away on one particular player or stack. Now let’s start breaking down the top plays and stacks.
