Slate Overview
Happy Saturday Grinders! We are getting down to the end of the regular season, but we still have some meaningful hockey to be played before we get to the postseason. Today we have a seven-game slate to break down. The playoff picture is starting to really take shape. The West appears to be the more set of the two conferences, but teams are still trying to improve their seeding. In the East there are still a couple of teams that are trying to hunt down the Penguins for the last wildcard spot. Today’s game against Washington is the biggest of the day in terms of playoff implications. Now let’s break down the DFS slate.
It should be of no surprise to anyone that the Edmonton Oilers on home ice have the highest implied team total on the slate. Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are two of the best offensive players in the NHL and can light up anyone on any given night. This is also a game that they are highly motivated to win. They are six points behind the Golden Knights for the top spot in the Pacific Division, so having the crowd and the last change is going to be a gigantic advantage in this one.
