Slate Overview

Happy Saturday Grinders! We have a six-game NHL slate on tap tonight. Half of the teams playing today are on the second half of a back to back. The big injury to update people on is Jack Hughes, as he is considered week-to-week. Auston Matthews remains out, although he is back skating in a non-contact jersey, so he is getting closer, but I wouldn’t expect to see him for a week or so. The St. Louis Blues should be getting back a trio of players returning to their top six. Robert Thomas, Ryan O’Reilly, and Pavel Buchnevich all skated in full on Friday and are expected to play today against the Coyotes. That is important since they get an incredibly strong matchup against the dreadful Coyotes. As always, make sure to check out our NHL Discord channel for the most up-to-date news regarding lineups throughout the evening. Now let’s break down the slate.
