I love being able to play new sites with new formats and am thrilled that we have a new site breaking into the salary cap space. OwnersBox MLB DFS Format

What is up, Grinders! We are here to talk about OwnersBox. This site is very creative for the MLB, as it has given us what we’ve been craving for what feels like an eternity. We are getting incredible flexibility for all positions. It consists of a pitcher spot, 4 infield positions, 4 outfield positions, and a Superflex, which will allow you to play any position including pitching. How many days have you wanted to play 5 first-basemen because of how deep the position is? OwnersBox is here to give you that fix and allow very creative lineup building. This is revolutionary for the DFS enthusiast, and I am here to talk through a handful of plays each week that I hope carry us to the finish line.

Top MLB DFS Picks for April 10th

Corey Seager – ($5,600)

Corey Seager is in a great spot tonight versus Ross Stripling. One of the biggest takeaways for me is his low K rate for right-handed pitching. He is sitting at 5% so far this season and while it will increase, he is still a very low-K bat. Stripling won’t be blowing the ball by anyone, and I think Seager has a shot at a multi-hit and multi-RBI game, and home runs are definitely not out of the question.

Ozzie Albies – ($5,500)

Per our incredible meteorologist Kevin Roth, there is a little disagreement between him and the National Weather Service today about this game. I would sure love for it to play, as Ozzie Albies has been one of the best hitters in baseball to begin the early season. He also gets to face an aging Jose Quintana, and I am expecting another great day at the plate. So far on the season, he has a .333 ISO to left-handed pitching and hasn’t struck out yet. It’s very early, so I understand that things won’t stay that way, but it’s further cementing the fact that his start to the season has been fantastic. He will be an insane tournament play tonight with this weather looming.

Anthony Volpe – ($3,700)

The theme of this article today is hot hitters to begin the season, and Volpe also fits this bill. I’m not afraid of Mr. Ryan Weathers pitching for the Marlins tonight. I think the Yankees are one of the best stacks on the board, and Volpe should have some really nice RBI potential. He has some of his team’s best hitters in front of him, and while he is not batting cleanup, batting 6th on this team is really good for possible fantasy production. His K rate is fairly low to begin the season, and the power is also there. I’m rolling Volpe out with confidence tonight.

We have a much smaller slate than what we usually see, so the options we have are really good for a slate this size. Hopefully, we put together some nice lineups and meet at the top of the leaderboards!
