It’s a very important day in the MLB, and frankly, the world today, as it’s the day before my birthday. This is incredibly important from an MLB DFS perspective because the universe will clearly be giving me the gift of my picks winning, and everyone reading this gets a chance to share the spoils. That’s how it works, right? Surely the universe won’t allow me to lose on my birthday? Regardless, every single team in the MLB is playing on Saturday, June 29th, creating multiple strong options for DFS Pick’em predictions on this slate.
First, we’ll go over the PrizePicks promo code for prospective users, and then we’ll break down today’s MLB predictions. Let’s get to it! And make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom for all of tonight’s MLB PrizePicks top plays.

MLB PrizePicks Predictions Today
Sonny Gray – Less Than 38.5 Fantasy Points
This is a BIG projected number for Sonny Gray, and I’m not sure why PrizePicks has it so high. He only projects for 34.1 fantasy points tonight in the RotoGrinders projections and has only exceeded 38 fantasy points three times in the past two months. This pick has a 66.21% win rate in the MLB Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks, the highest on the entire slate by a fairly wide margin.
- PrizePicks PLAY: Less Than 38.5 Fantasy Points
Pablo Lopez – More Than 4.5 Hits Allowed
While he’s a great strikeout pitcher with a strong pedigree, Pablo Lopez simply hasn’t been playing like himself since early May. The last time he has given up fewer than four hits in a game was on April 17th, and he has allowed at least six of them in four of his past five games. Tonight, he projects for 5.87 hits allowed in the RotoGrinders projections, and this pick has a 63.74% win rate in the MLB Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks, higher than all others except the Sonny Gray pick to have less than 38.5 fantasy points.
- PrizePicks PLAY: More Than 5.5 Hits
Yordan Alvarez – More Than 7.5 Fantasy Points
While there are very few teams with implied team totals over five runs tonight, the Astros fall just short of that but still are one of the top offenses of the day. Alvarez has been red hot recently, with a ridiculous .383 ISO and .455 wOBA to right-handed pitching over the past 30 days. He projects for 10.3 fantasy points tonight in the RotoGrinders projections and is my top bat of the day in any format.
- PrizePicks PLAY: More Than 7.5 FPTS
