84% of bets are on the Seattle Seahawks, per VegasInsider.

The Seattle Seahawks were an inch away from the NFC’s second seed in Week 17. That inch stretched 2,378 miles, leaving the Seahawks with a a long trip to the East Coast as they’re set to face the Philadelphia Eagles. Bettors aren’t buying the Eagles’ home-field advantage, though.

Surprisingly, FanDuel Sportsbook opened the Eagles 1.5-point favorites. With bets pouring in on the 11-5 Seattle Seahawks, the spread swung three points in favor of the Seahawks.

It’s apparent bettors expect the Seahawks to look more like they did in the second half of the 49ers game than the first half. Don’t let Seattle’s 11-5 record fool you. The Seahawks have been historically lucky this year, winning 11 games with only a +7 point differential.

There are plenty of reasons to be concerned about the Eagles, who have been riddled with injuries throughout the season. What was once a formidable receiving corps looks more like a corpse with Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor and Desean Jackson sidelined. The Eagles depth chart got even thinner as they continued to run bad in the last two weeks of the season with injuries to Zach Ertz and then Miles Sanders. Luckily Sanders is set to play on Sunday while Ertz remains a game-time decision. The Eagles are optimistic that Ertz will be ready to go.

It’s tough to look past the Eagles long list of injuries, but I’m betting against the public in this game.
