#1 Overall Grinder Condia Takes 1st for NFL and January!
What was your new year’s resolution? #1 Overall Grinder Condia seemed to make his 2013 resolution to return to being a dominant force in daily fantasy sports because he has been absolutely rolling. Taking 1st on the January and NFL Leaderboards, Condia certainly has made the most of the first month in 2013. There are plenty of others though who are dominating the new year, so let’s take a look at which Grinders have been red-hot in this week’s rankings article.
Top-25 Movement
- #9 STLCardinals1984 – DFFC Qualifer and recent Top-10 Grinder STLCardinals1984 once again climbs up the leaderboard this week, landing at #9 overall from 10th a week ago.
- #13 Notorious – He celebrated a birthday this week and qualified for the DFBBC recently as well. Add moving up one spot to #13 overall to Notorious 2013 resume.
- #15 Bluestem89 – BluStem89 at it again. Every week it seems like he’s on the move. Up one more place to #17 overall this week.
- #17 Perseverance – Perseverance is another Grinder on a tear lately. Climbing the leaderboard like it’s his job in the first month of the new year, he now stands at 17th overall.
- #18 Heelsman – Right on Perseverance’s heels (see what I did there) is Heelsman who also moves up one place this week to 18th overall.
- #23 Bcrev229 – Rounding out the Top-25 movers is a recent member of the elite Top-25 Grinders, Bcrev229. Bcrev moves up one spot this week to 23rd overall!

Top-100 Movement and New Players
New Additions to the Top-100 GLB
- #72 Doomsday70 – The 2012 FFFC Qualifier is hitting back furiously following his 21st place finish in that main event. This week he joins the Grinders leaderboard at an incredible 72nd overall.
- #83 Lionsorbust – Another 2012 FFFC Qualifier joins the leaderboard this week in Lionsorbust. He held the lead for much of the 2012 FFFC before finishing 4th overall and joins the GLB at #83 overall.
- #88 Ehafner – A new member here at RG, Ehafner is 11th for January with 33K in winnings and joins the GLB in 88th place overall. Congrats!
- #93 TommyG1979 – Formerly in the top-100, TommyG1979 returns this week and stands at #93 overall following a January with over 6K in winnings.
- #98 Jmorvant – A huge $7K month for Grinder Jmorvant surges him into 98th overall on the leaderboard. Impressive stuff and congrats!
Big Movers in the Top-100
- #69 Tactiks – For the 3rd straight week, I believe, Tactiks earns a shoutout. His whopping 14 place jump this week thanks to $4K in winnings moves him to 69th overall.
- #48 AveryBradley – One of the up and coming studs in daily fantasy, AveryBradley pushes inside the Top-50 this week following an 8 place jump to 48th overall from 56th a week ago.
- #34 Adona72001 – He disappeared for a little while following an incredible college football season, but Adona72001 is back with a vengeance and moves 7 places up this week from 41st to 34th overall.
- #55 Blitzburgh – He’s 78th in the month of January and has accrued nearly 10K in winnings this month, which is probably the key reason he’s moved up 5 places on the overall leaderboard this week to 55th overall!
- #91 Bubblegumga – Up from 96th a week ago, Bubblegumga secures himself safely in the Top-100 at 91st overall. He is also in the top-100 for January with a $7K month!
January GLB Leaderboard
As I mentioned above, Condia headlines this week by taking #1 overall for the month of January as well as the NFL season. He got no shout out in the “movers” section of the article because you can’t move any higher than where he currently stands on the overall leaderboard. He also stands at #1 overall on the NBA leaderboard. His accomplishments are ridiculous and his winnings totals are even more impressive. $231K in winnings for the month of January, including 4 wins of over $2K or more. $1.68 million in winnings over the past 12 months as well. Love him or hate him, you know there is no one in the industry playing the volume and winning the volume that he is today. Big congrats to Condia!
