2016 FCK Challenge Recap: Who's the Champ?

If you weren’t already aware, there was quite the DFS contest going on this past month or so on DraftKings. From January 26th through March 2nd, a 41-man field boasting some of the biggest names in DFS competed in an ongoing NBA contest known as the FCK Challenge.

Among the field were big names such as saahilsud (maxdalury), Dinkpiece (two-time FCK champ), Naapsterman, RayofHope, and a few faces you might recognize from RotoGrinders like Notorious, STLCardinals84, Hoop2410, and DraftCheat among others.

The FCK Challenge was in effect every time an NBA slate (excluding weekends) had 5+ games, which allowed for 20 showdowns over the length of the contest. Given the daunting playing field littered with DFS heavyweights, competing in this contest was more for bragging rights than anything else. But as everyone knows, it’s much more fun with something on the line, so each participant paid $100 each time there was a 5+ game slate, and a one-time $500 contribution to go towards the overall prizes.

When the smoke had finally cleared from the 20-slate FCK Challenge, it was your Grind Down author and fellow RG expert, Notorious, who pulled out the victory! It’s true testament to his skill as a DFS player to come out on top of a field that stout.
