2017 DFS Rankings Review: November Edition

It’s been a couple of months since our last Rankings Review, and the NFL and NBA season has seen a new leader emerge on top of the pack in the RotoGrinders Tournament Player of the Year race, as ChipotleAddict has moved into the lead and has a fairly comfortable lead of over 10K points over the previous ranked #1 awesemo. Two others are within 20K points – papagates and youdacao and barring some miraculous end of year run it will come down to those four.

Cubsfan33, fresh off winning the Millionaire Maker, made a big move, climbing 29 spots to #13 while an old familiar face made his debut in the rankings with a amazing start to the NFL season. That would be condia, who enters at #19. Jhorst52 was the other big mover, as he enters the top 25 at #22, a jump of 27 spots.

The top of the Superheavyweight standings didn’t fluctuate much as awesemo continues to hold the top spot there and the top 10 remained the same outside of a few movements up and down for the best of the best. Three players, RikkieDee, MrTuttle05 (of Swolecast fame), and cubsfan333 all were big movers as they all improved eight spots or more. Draftcheat and jae686 both fell five spots but remain in the top 25.

There is a new leader in the Heavyweight Tier as tomjk321 moved up a weight class and took over the top spot while the rest of the top 10 saw climbs by virtually everyone including debuts by BDHolla89 and Theclone. There were four players who moved up at least five ranking spots and they were hishboo (up 8 to #14), PurpleNurple19 (up 7 to #17), superstars92 (up 6 to #22), and mberkowi (up 8 to #25). AshyL4rry was the big drop of the group as he fell four spots but remained in the top 25 at #21.

Anilprao88 continues his dominance in the Middleweight tier but has some competition now as affihq entered the tier and is the only player within 150K rankings points of him. Two others, Ryanfour1637 and pjm11, also debuted in the top 10 while mrnastytime (up 11 to #10), Lunacy3 (up 15 to #21), and TBalla (up 14 to #24) were the big climbers of this group. Boweryomama, davemoon, and drewcasper all dropped five spots or more but are still ranked in the top 25.

No change in the top three of the Welterweight tier as CZYX continues to hold strong over Capri and lozingitall. Three strong moves in the top 10 were TheHaba (up 7 to #6), gfay63 (up 8 to #8), and chad001 (up 6 to #9) while jimdole and nolefan31 both entered the top 25 with substantial double digit moves in the rankings. Maineventers had the biggest fall of this group as he fell seven spots to #19.

No change either at the top of the Bantamweight tier as kratom continues to lead over shipper21 with a comfortable 25K+ margin. There were some huge moves by hendog (up 14 to #3) and probablymylastlogin (up 18 to #7) with icerange522 and jpatr23 both entering the top 25 of the tier. Frizz1 had a big drop – 11 spots to #21.

Finally a tier with a new leader as chefcurry68 debuts as the new #1 in the Flyweight tier knocking BBROCK down to second. It’s a tight race though as those two and rdewji are all within 5K ranking points of one another. A bunch of new faces on the leaderboard as tommy12hill, StraightCash, sportsfanatic, Steven1974, and WheresMyKiss all entered the top 25.
