2018 SuperContest Gold Recap: Four Tied After Week 3

With 128 entries in the $5,000 buy-in, winner-take-all 2018 Las Vegas SuperContest Gold sports betting content, there is $640,000 up for grabs. After Week 3, four teams were tied for first place at 11-4.

The four teams tied for first place are “TRUSTED LINK SPORTS,” “MVP,” “LIGHTNING 2,” and “4U DOCTOR.”

TRUSTED LINK SPORTS, MVP, and LIGHTNING 2 all went 4-1 in Week 3, whereas 4U DOCTOR went 5-0. 4U DOCTOR was one of 10 contestants to go 5-0 in Week 3.

The most popular selections among the four contestants tied for first were Baltimore Ravens (-5.5), Indianapolis Colts (+6.5), New Orleans Saints (+3), New York Giants (+6.5), Pittsburgh Steelers (-1), and Washington Redskins (+2.5). Each of those sides were selected two times. You’ll notice there are four underdogs of those six selections, and all told the four teams tied for first place had 12 picks that were underdog sides. Collectively, these four teams are 27-6 when selecting underdogs.

After Week 2, “BANGTHEBOOK.COM” and “AMIRSUFI” were the two teams tied for first place, but both fell out of the top spot. BANGTHEBOOK.COM went 2-3 in Week 3 and is now 9-5-1 overall in a tie for 18th place. AMIRSUFI went 3-2 in Week 3 and is in a tie for fifth place with a 10-4-1 record.

“GIVE ME MY NAME 7,” who was in sole possession of first place in the 2018 SuperContest Gold after Week 1 thanks to a perfect 5-0 record, has gone 0-5 and 2-3 in the last two weeks and is now 7-8 overall.
