It appears that San Francisco’s run at major players in the NL West has finally run its course (for now). Long-time ace Madison Bumgarner will now be pitching for a division rival, Buster Posey has opted out for the 2020 season due to Covid-19 concerns, and, at least on paper, this lineup looks to be one of the weakest in the National League. With the NL West also looking more stacked from top-to-bottom than years past, this could be a long season for fans in the Bay Area.
