PrizePicks Super Bowl Predictions: Wide Receivers

The NFL Season is finally coming to a close, with many people’s Super Bowl predictions coming true as the 49ers vs. Chiefs face off in the big game. There are a variety of strong PrizePicks WR predictions despite there only being one game to choose from, with multiple players rating out as NFL PrizePicks top plays.

Below are my top picks for WR position in the 49ers vs. Chiefs in the big game — Sunday, February 11th.

Rashee Rice – 6.5 Receptions

Rice has been Mahomes’ top target all season long, and although Travis Kelce has come alive in the playoffs, this number is still too low for Rice on PrizePicks. He projects for 6.9 receptions in the RotoGrinders projections and has had more than 8 receptions in 2 of his 3 playoff games so far. The Chiefs WR has a 65.98% win rate according to the NFL Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks and is the strongest WR play of the game.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling – 18.5 Receiving Yards

I made this point a few weeks ago, and it worked out, but anytime MVS has a receiving projection on PrizePicks below 20 yards, I like to take advantage. While he has dropped an obscene amount of passes this season, he’s almost exclusively a deep threat. This means, that any time Valdes-Scantling has at least a single reception, he typically exceeds his receiving yards number. He projects for more than 24 yards in the RotoGrinders projections and should have an easy time eclipsing this mark as long as he can hang onto the ball.

Deebo Samuel – 58.5 Receiving Yards

While the RotoGrinders projection for Deebo Samuel receiving yards is only 57.63 for the big game, I have a tough time believing Deebo won’t be more involved for the 49ers. I expect the Chiefs’ top defensive back, L’Jarious Snead, to spend most of his time on Brandon Aiyuk, and Samuel could have an easier time getting free due to how much he moves around pre-snap. Deebo had more than 80 yards last week when he returned from injury, and I’m predicting a massive game as the Chiefs defense focuses on stopping Christian McCaffrey.
