DOCOFS II July 20-27! Full Breakdown Inside
The moment every daily fantasy player has been waiting for has finally arrived. The second round of the DraftDay DOCOFS Tournament has been released and it already seems like it will be bigger and badder than the first DOCOFS event. For those of you unfamiliar with the DOCOFS tournament, it is DraftDay’s Daily Online Championship of Fantasy Sports. It boasts a series of qualifier events and purchasable seats that lead up to a Main Event with a massive prize pool. So far, the second go of this incredible event promises more games, bigger fields and the first ever online daily fantasy bracket-style heads up competition. $85K in prizes are already being guaranteed, although the first DOCOFS prize pool grew by $10K as the event continued! Recap of DOCOFS I
The first DOCOFS event hosted nine qualifier events, including a main event with $30K in prizes! Overall, DOCOFS I shelled out $50,000 in prizes to players across their five day super event. Jardine91 was eventually crowned the champion of the first DOCOFS after having an incredible week where he cashed nine times(sometimes multiple cashes in one event) in the nine events. He won just under $6 grand! The first round also featured an interesting collection of events, built to make the competition more challenging. There were qualifier games for AL and NL Only Leagues, Turbo(day games only) Leagues, Hit It and Split It Leagues, lowered salary cap leagues and regular salary cap leagues. DOCOFS I was an incredible success and ever since it ended, thousands of DFS players have been waiting with bated breath for DraftDay to announce part 2!

DOCOFS II
So how do you improve upon a 5-day series that shelled out $50K in prizes? Well apparently you up the ante and make the total guaranteed prize pool $85,000. Starting on Saturday, July 20th, the DOCOFS II will feature 15 Events all leading up to their $40,000 Main Event. If you win one of the 14 qualifier events, you earn a custom avatar at DD as well as a free seat in the Main Event. You can also buy into the main event. Seats to the main event are a $200 buy-in. Similar to DOCOFS I, the DOCOFS II will have Hit It and Split It Games, Turbo Games, Reduced Salary Cap Games, and AL/NL Only Games as qualifiers(and much more!).
Also like the first round of events, the standings for DOCOFS II will be based on how well you fare night-in and night-out of the tournament. At the end of the week we will have a new champion crowned as the DOCOFS II Player of the Series, based on your final scores in any event you are able to cash in(bracket events not included.) 1st place in the overall 15-event contest will take home a grand as well as a chance to play a heads up game with Sirius XM Host Kay Adams for another $1K.
This time around, DraftDay will also be hosting qualifier events for the 15 DOCOFS events between July 20th and July 27th. Earn a seat to a DOCOFS Event for as little as $1 and take a shot at a ton of cash! And towards the end of the week, DraftDay hosts a couple of multi-seat tournaments where 8 or 10 seats to the main event are guaranteed.

The Heads-Up Bracket-Style Tournament
It looks like the Heads-Up Bracket Style tournament will be running as two separate events that anyone can buy into, as long as you act fast. There will be a $5 buy-in 128-man bracket tournament that runs throughout the week as well as a $50 buy-in 128-man bracket. Just like any bracket tournament, you then are randomly matched up against another player and each day the best player in the heads up match ups advances to the next round. All of this culminates with the Heads-Up Finals for both the 5$ and 50$ buy-in bracket challenges on Saturday, July 27th. Act fast as there is a one seat limit per player, but these seats are guaranteed to go QUICK.
