What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – WAS -130
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home After watching Steven Strasburg get worked over by LAD, you might think twice about taking Gio Gonzalez today. Well, do not! Since the end of April, Gio Gonzalez has been one of the best pitchers in baseball and it is hard not to like him at home. LAD is batting .266 on the road, .263 versus left-handers, and .270 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 9
- Away Zack Greinke has been pretty bad on the road and WAS is not known for being a great pitcher’s park. Plus, the team owns a .313 BAA versus him and seems to be finally healthy enough to do damage on opponents. WAS is batting .266 at home, .250 versus right-handers, and .237 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home Denard Span has the best BvPs versus Greinke. He is also batting over .300 versus right-handed pitching. Bryce Harper and Anthony Rendon are also batting over .300 versus right-handers. RG Stack Rating 4
- Away If Puig was playing I would say to play him but he is most likely not so I am saying to play no one. RG Stack Rating 1

MIA vs R | MIA BvP | MIL vs R | MIL BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – MIL -160
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Yovani Gallardo may be the heavy favorite today but MIA and MIL share almost identical records and he is an awful pitcher at home so far this year. His July ERA is 9.00 so nothing about Gallardo makes me think to jump on board even against MIA. MIA is batting .230 on the road, .233 versus right-handers, and .224 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away When you say a pitcher is holding opposing players to a .181 BAA then you are talking about a dominant pitcher. Nathan Eovaldi does not evoke that reponse but what he has done so far this year should, He has been great. His K totals are a little low but he is worth a look in a multiple pitcher format given Gallardo’s struggles at home. Screw the line. MIL is batting .264 at home, .255 versus right-handers, and .230 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
Batter Grind Down
- Home Ryan Bruan is 3-7 with 1 HR versus Eovaldi. I might take a chance on him since his price has dropped but I am avoiding everyone else from MIL until they start producing. RG Stack Rating 3
- Away Giancario Stanton is 4-12 versus Gallardo. Logan Morrison is batting .333 versus right-handers. RG Stack Rating 4

SEA vs L | SEA BvP | HOU vs R | HOU BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – SEA -132
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Call me crazy but I think Erik Bedard makes a sneaky GPP play today. He has been very solid at home with a 2.98 ERA and SEA ranks third in the league in Ks. If I am not taking Iwakuma then I am probably playing the fade and taking Bedard on a multiple pitcher site SEA is batting .233 on the road, .238 versu left-handers, and .307 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away I was just a simple switch of replacing J.D. Martinez with Jonny Gomes away from taking down the Midsummer Classic last night and finally getting the sex change operation I have always dreamed of. Those Double D bonzagas are Naapstermaan’s now. I choose J.D. because I knew J.G. would be a hot value play versus a left-hander and he fit into my sneaky mini-Astro’s stack. J.D. layed me a goose egg and Gomes scored 23. Sometimes it is the plays you do not make. I do not think I will be running any Sneaky Astros stack against Hisashi Iwakuma today even though he has been average on the road because the Astros struggles against righties. Saunders is a lefty so the play made sense. HOU is batting .229 versus right-handers, .230 at home, and .257 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 9
Batter Grind Down
- Home This park really favorsright-handed power so consider all the right-handed bats in play. I like Kendrys Morales and Jason Bay the most. RG Stack Rating 4
- Away When recommending the Astros, I feel like when you are trying to convince your friend to go out with your girlfriend’s sister who you know is not that attractive but you have to talk here up to him anyway because your girlfriend is sitting right there and you want to get laid later so you say things like she has a great personality and a really good sense of humor but the bottom line is you would not date her and you know neither would he. Have you seen the Astros new Uniforms? Boy! Aren’t those spiffy? Okay, I have used this before but a funny response is a funny response. RG Stack Rating 1*RG Stack Rating*

DET vs R | DET BvP | KCR vs R | KCR BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – DET -164
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Jeremy Guthrie is an average pitcher facing a well above average offense and an elite opponent on the mound. Even if I liked him as a player, I would be telling you to avoid him. DET is batting .259 on the road, .285 versus right-handers, and .247 over the last 7 days RG Start-Ability 2
- Away If you need me to tell you to take Justin Verlander versus this Slumping KAN team against a gas-can then you need to rethink your approach to daily fantasy. The only knock on him today is KAN does not K that much. KAN is batting .247 at home, .251 versus right-handers, and .227 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 9
Batter Grind Down
- Home If you are playing the fade then Billy Butler is 24-51 with 2 HRs versus Verlander. RG Stack Rating 1
- Away DET always seems to score runs so consider everyone playable. Miguel Cabrera ‘s 10-29 with 3 HRs BvPs is playable either wa6y. RG Stack Rating 7

CLE vs R | CLE BvP | MIN vs R | MIN BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9
- Favored Team – CLE -111
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home This has to be the worse matchup of the evening. Kevin Correia has been okay at home but he has yet to face an opponent as stout as this CLE team. CLE is batting .261 on the road, .255 versus right-handers, and .249 over the last 7 days. *RG Start-Ability 4 *
- Away Corey Kluber gets Ks. At least, you can say that about him. He has been awesome at home with a 2.53 ERA and seems the lock to get the win today. MIN .264 at home, .242 versus right-handers, and .230 over the last 7 days RG Start-Ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Home MIN as a team has a .281 BAA versus Kluber so consider everypne playable. Justin Morneau ‘s numbers are the best with a 4-11 with 1 HR line. RG Stack Rating 4
- Away Correia is allowing left-handers to hit .308 versus him which spells great news for CLE left-handed bats. I think you can trust all OF CLE today, though. RG Stack Rating 5
