Pitcher Grind Down
- Jake Peavy – Peavy has had a spectacular 2nd half of the season. Since the All-Star Break, he has posted a 2.59 ERA while holding batters to a .240 batting average. His recent play has brought his price tag up and tonight may not be the time to buy high on Peavy as he draws a tough matchup against the Dodgers who are ranked 5th in wOBA vs. RH pitching. Rating = 5
Salaries: $8200 FD, $15800 DD, $8800 DK, $NA FF, $NA SS, $NA FTD
- Dan Haren – Haren is an easy pitcher to avoid tonight. Not only does he give up too many HR’s (1.35 per 9 innings), but he has one of the tougher matchups on the board as the Giants have the best wOBA of any team over the last 30 days. Rating = 4
Salaries: $7400 FD, $15800 DD, $7900 DK, $ FF, $ SS, $ FTD

Hunter Pence – Haren has already given up 26 HR’s this season, 12 of which have been off of batters from the right side of the plate. Haren has also given up a .346 wOBA to RH hitters which puts Pence in a great spot tonight.
Additional Plays: Buster Posey, Pablo Sandoval
LA Dodgers
Adrian Gonzalez – Gonzalez is heating up at the right time. Over his last 10 games, he has 11 hits (2 HR’s) and 9 RBI’s. He has a pretty nice matchup against Peavy who has given up a .344 wOBA to LH hitters this season.
Additional Plays: Dee Gordon
