A Definitely Interesting, Possibly Helpful MLB Guide: National League

It’s finally here.

After a bizarre offseason that featured a bidding war on a Japanese sensation, a joining in New York of the two most prodigious power hitters of this generation, a hot stove that (more often than not) was ice cold, collusion allegations…baseball (and more importantly, if you’re reading this, baseball DFS) is back in our lives.

NOTE: This series will be free once the regular season starts. Only the AL/NL previews are for Premium members.

If you’ve followed my “10 Definitely Interesting, Possibly Helpful Notes” column at RotoGrinders in years past, welcome back! If you’re new to RotoGrinders or to this column, here’s a quick rundown:

In doing MLB DFS research, I’ll occasionally stumble across some interesting bits of information that, I think, can provide insight into DFS lineup construction. With the availability of sites like FanGraphs, Baseball Reference, Baseball Savant, and RotoGrinders’ PlateIQ, it’s easier than ever to go down a rabbit hole, and when I do, I’ll post my findings here. “10 Notes” isn’t exactly a typical “picks” column (RotoGrinders has plenty of experts more qualified than me to provide daily plays and consensus rankings, if that’s what you’re looking for), nor is it a “fun facts” column; it’s something in between.
