Top DFS Picks
Oscar Piastri: Many are expecting McLaren to compete in the group of teams just behind Red Bull and Ferrari this season. While Lando Norris is the oddsmakers’ preferred option at the moment, we’ll want to watch the weekend practices and qualifying to see exactly how far these teammates are from each other. If the projected ownership doesn’t match the gap in potential speed, Piastri could be an interesting DFS tournament option.
Charles Leclerc: The hype on Ferrari is palpable, but Red Bull and Max Verstappen are still the crowned gods of the sport until somebody proves they aren’t. Is a $6,000 price gap enough to gamble that Leclerc can pull off a huge opening weekend? The gamble is more appealing with this kind of price, and the speeds in testing were quite impressive.
Daniel Ricciardo / Yuki Tsunoda: Team RB is going to be a mid-pack team to watch, as their performance caught some attention in testing just as it did in the season’s final event in 2023. The RB drivers finished 8th and 11th, respectively, in that race. Ricciardo seems to have the oddsmakers’ favor at the moment, but your DFS selections could hinge more heavily on qualifying/start position.
