Beermakersfan is #1!
Welcome back to the RotoGrinders Leaderboard Weekly Update. After a couple of weeks with technical difficulties, the rankings update is back online and of course there is a slew of exciting news to report. The baseball season is well underway, so those Grinders who are baseball aces are making moves up the board. But the grizzled basketball vets (yes the season was tough on us too), are holding strong as well as the playoffs get underway and a mix of daily and two-day leagues are available. Two sports to play right now, with experts in each not wanting to give an inch up within the top 100. So let’s quit the small talk and get to headline stories of the past week.
Headline Story: Beermakersfan Takes Over #1
Just a few short weeks after Condia and Rudzia55 switched spots atop the board, we have yet another new leader in Grinder Nation. The 2011 FFFC champion, Beermakersfan, has taken the top position as he impressively overtook Rudzia55 last week and now Condia. Beermakersfan was clearly prepared for the start of baseball season, and has used a huge number of wins on FanDuel to become the top DFS player in the Grinder system. A huge congratulations to Beermakersfan on this incredible achievement and best of luck holding that top spot moving ahead.
While we’re talking about incredible jumps at the top of the leaderboard, there was one more player who was able to jump two spots within the top five. BrettFavre444 continues to improve his stock with another great week of winning money. He now stands at third overall, moving up from his fifth place position last week. Great job, BrettFavre444, if he continues at this rate he could soon be challenging the top spot himself.
Movers And Shakers: Double-Digit Jumps
Only one player was able to move up by more than ten spots this week, though his jump was actually a whopping 20 places. The move was made by Partytimegary who, aside from having a great name, had an even greater week of winnings. To put in perspective just how difficult it was to make a jump this week, and just how well everyone is playing to maintain their rank, we can look at the other jumps of the week. The next highest move was btjordan23 who moved up 6 spots from 59th to 53rd place and after that only one other player was able to move up even four places. The 20 place jump during a week when there were very few players able to rise way up the board is really impressive and a big shout out goes to Partytimegary.
Welcome To The Big Board: New Players In The Top 100
There were three players who joined the board this week. Two of these guys have been grinding a long time without being official Grinders, thus their prowess in the game has been established for awhile. But they can finally be recognized for their greatness, as both are good enough players to be in the top 50 DFS players on RG. The first, Rockem73, joined RotoGrinders in mid-April and stands at 35th place overall. Congrats go out to him. The other new Grinder, but old DFS vet, joins RG at an incredible 13th place overall. Welcome to RG and the leaderboard, Ronnymor2 and we look forward to seeing how high you can rise in the near future. The final new player to the board pushed his way through the pack and fought all the way to 99th place overall. Tfbelongia joins the board this week just barely within the top 100. It’s a big accomplishment, but he will certainly need to stay on his game and cement a more solid place in the ranks. Good luck to Tfbelongia.
