Bengals vs. Giants – NFL Player Props

Tee Higgins OVER 4.5 Receptions (-128, FanDuel)

Tee Higgins gets a great matchup on Sunday Night Football, facing a New York defense that ranks in the bottom half of the NFL this season in EPA/play and success rate allowed to opposing pass defenses. Despite being widely regarded as the WR2 in this Cincinnati offense, Higgins has led all Bengals’ pass catchers in targets in each of the last 2 weeks, with 10 targets against the Panthers and 14 targets against the Ravens. The Giants rank 28th in DVOA against WR1 and 13th in DVOA against WR2 this fall, so this is a good spot either way for Higgins in Week 6.

Darius Slayton OVER 4.5 Receptions (+126, FanDuel)

In Week 5, with Malik Nabers out due to injury, Darius Slayton led the Giants in receptions (8), receiving yards (122), and targets (11). He lined up out wide and in the slot, showcasing a necessary level of versatility for any wide receiver hoping to lead a team in targets in any situation. Slayton gets another great matchup in Week 6, facing a Cincinnati secondary unit that has been repeatedly torched early this fall. This is great value for a player who could be the top option for Daniel Jones this evening.

Theo Johnson UNDER 2.5 Receptions (+135, BetMGM)

Theo Johnson had 5 receptions last weekend against Seattle, but he was a clear 3rd option in the team’s passing game, and it’s not a guarantee that he will consistently be above the team’s running backs in target share. Johnson had only a 4.2 aDOT last week, so it’s not unreasonable to imagine him being overlooked for more talented options, such as Wan’Dale Robinson in those short-yardage situations. The team could also look to get their tight ends more involved in Week 6, facing a Bengals’ defense that ranks 19th in DVOA against the position in 2024.
