Goalie
Pekka Rinne – Rinne never seems to be a comfortable option in net, but he has been a solid option all year. He has overcome the hiccup he worked through before Christmas, when he allowed nine goals across two starts. The soft goals always feel like they will be there with Rinne, but he is in a good spot to succeed tonight. He is skating at home where he has much more favorable numbers (.921 all situation save percentage versus .914 on the road) and the Preds dominate on home ice. The opponent is a good one for Rinne as well, as the Panthers can drive up their shot totals but they typically consists of lower danger chances. Over the past month of play, Florida has produced the 14th most shot attempts per hour at 5v5, but also just the 25th scoring chance rate and are dead last in high-danger attempts per hour. With Nashville getting Ryan Ellis back in the fold, Rinne should see a fair complement of shots on net but from the less risky parts of the ice.

Other Goalies: Carter Hutton, Frederik Andersen, Andrei Vasilevskiy
