Breaking down each BetMGM bonus code
The first bet insurance promotion offered by BetMGM isn’t a promo unique to them. Other sportsbooks have this type of promotion, but BetMGM is one of the only two sportsbooks where you can get as much as $1,500 insured on your first bet.
First bet insurance means you’ll get bonus bets back equal to your first wager if you don’t win. For example, betting $49 or less and losing will give you one $49 bonus bet back from BetMGM. If you bet $50 or more (let’s say $60 in this example), you’ll get five $12 bonus bets (or five bonus bets equal to 20% of your first bet’s stake).
Now if you choose BetMGM’s deposit match, you’re in control of how much sports bonus you get. Up to $8,000 in cash can be deposited on your end and it’ll be matched. But there’s an additional layer to this promo, and that’s a 10x wagering requirement you must meet within 30 days.
Let’s say BetMGM issued you $550 in sports bonus ($1,600 is the maximum you can earn). 10x that amount is $5,550, and that’s what BetMGM will require you to wager of your own money in the next month. If you don’t meet that requirement, BetMGM will cancel any remaining sports bonus and take away winnings you didn’t get the chance to withdraw.
How I’d bet Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Pacers and Celtics
While Indiana wouldn’t be eliminated with a Game 3 loss, they’d be as good as done if they don’t defend home court. Unfortunately for them, they could have to go after it without Tyrese Haliburton, who re-injured his leg in Game 2. Even if he suits up, he might not be at 100%.
I would’ve been tempted to make a case for the Pacers covering +7 points if Haliburton was 100% and if they didn’t pull their stars out of the game at tip off in the fourth quarter when they were only down 12. Pascal Siakam feasted in the third quarter but was irresponsibly not put back in the game in the fourth.
Ultimately, Game 1 felt like the wake up call the Celtics needed to take the Pacers as seriously as can be regardless of the skill gap between them. The Celtics have too many elite shooters, shot creators, and defenders to make me think they won’t cover the spread. If you want to bet their moneyline, it’s the best price it has been all series at -270.
