Breaking Down the 2011 FFFC Field

Palazoo Sports Book in Vegas where the finals are held

With the FanDuel Fantasy Football Championships on Sunday I thought it would be fun to take a quick look at the field, breakdown some of the players, and set some odds for the event. Unfortunately, I don’t think Laggasse Stadium Sportsbook is going to have these available to bet on.

Joshua Ecker Oneshot1819 – By the looks of his profile he’s a lower stakes Large Field Player. He hasn’t won a single dollar playing Daily Fantasy since November 6th. Based on his limited track record he is one of the longest shot in the field. Odds to win 40/1

Aaron Goldsmith hadlock09 – After qualifying in week 2 it looks like he didn’t play much (or very well ) for the next month and a half. He’s been much more active the last few weeks and I have a soft spot for any radio guy out there. Odds to win 35/1

William Whitlock Whits23 – One of the most outspoken and accomplished daily fantasy players in the industry is taking his 3rd shot at winning a Championship on FanDuel. Whits clearly knows how to put together a solid fantasy lineup and you can love him or hate him, but at the very least you have to respect him. Odds to win 10/1

Don Plugge plugdog Looking at his profile he’s been more interested in college hoops and hockey than NFL. He hasn’t won a ton of cash in Daily Fantasy, but a win on Sunday would certainly change that. Odds to win 20/1

Chuck Zoeller highridgehoosiers He has to be the ultimate underdog in the FFFC. He has won 2 games in his daily fantasy career, one of those just happened to the Championship qualifier. Hasn’t won a dime since then, so it will definitely be interesting to see what kind of team he puts together. Odds to win 75/1

Ryan Tien kiet He only started in September, but he is a very active player and looks to have built a nice bankroll. You’ll see him in quite a few $50 and $100 h2h and leagues on FanDuel and should have a good shot come Sunday. Odds to Win 25/1

Raymond Reper therayray He’s been killing it recently in college basketball, but everyone knows where his attention will be this weekend. This Rotogrinders member is very active and loves to play for the big score. Now he has a chance to win the biggest one in the industry. Odds to Win 25/1

Jesper Madsen DKMaestro This guy is a true grinder and consistently put some top teams in the FFFC qualifiers. He finally got himself into the Finals and a definitely has the experience to finish on top of the leaderboard. Odds to Win 12/1

Kyle Koch Jackandsoda This bartender definitely knows his sports as he was also a finalist in the FFBC this summer. He is both a high volume head to head player and has a nice track record in the large field events. Baseball might be his best sport, but he definitely takes contender status this weekend. Odds to Win 10/1

Charles Bell Spawns65 Here is another highly experienced player who definitely spent some time near the top of FFFC leaderboards before winning his seat. You’ll find him in many medium to high stakes games and has a lot of success in large field events so watch out. Odds to Win 12/1

Maura Wilder somuchwilder The first and only women to qualify for a FanDuel Championship is definitely a fantasy nut. She might not play the highest stakes, but she plays many different sports and is getting in the action almost nightly. She’s toting the flag for the few female daily fantasy players out there and I don’t think they could have asked for a better representative. Odds to Win 25/1

()(right)http://d2omoky3s7n2wz.cloudfront.net/fffc-beer.jpg(Beermakersfan)

Chris Prince beermakersfan He’s the #5 ranked Grinder and arguably the top Daily Fantasy player out there today. Beer returns to Vegas for the second consecutive year and has to be looked at as the favorite. He has amassed over $187,000 in total winnings playing daily fantasy sports and is always near the top of large field leaderboards. Odds to Win 5/1
