Building A High Stakes Tournament Lineup - NFL DFS Week 2
Well, you guys are going to laugh at me. Apparently I’m becoming a boomer like my main man Dan Back because I wrote up my Week 1 article, the first installment in this new weekly series I’m writing, and forgot to hit the old submit button to send it to the editors.
Then, I had computer issues Monday and DB had to fill in for me on the Monday showdown show, while Beer and Chop got to give me a ribbing about it on the OG’s podcast.
It was not a good Week 1 for your boy.
That being said, I’m a forward thinking guy. We are onto Week 2, and I’m excited to be doing this article this year.
Here’s the deal, there is a ton of great content out there in the industry every week during the NFL season, but most of it is geared a little bit more towards picks or like game by game breakdowns. Those are great, I use them too, but I do think there’s a little bit missing in terms of breaking down a slate from the perspective of how to build a tournament lineup.
I am not an MME player, and I typically play somewhere from 1-5 lineups in higher stakes, smaller field tournaments. If you’re maxing out the milly maker, let’s probably isn’t the perfect article for you, but if you’re building one or a handful of lineups for the smaller fields like me, hopefully this will help in terms of lineup building process and all the different factors you should consider before clicking that submit button.
