Building A High Stakes Tournament Lineup - NFL DFS Week 7

There is a ton of great content out there in the industry every week during the NFL season, but most of it is geared a little bit more towards picks or game by game breakdowns. Those are great (I use them too) but I do think there’s a little bit missing in terms of breaking down a slate from the perspective of how to build a tournament lineup.

I am not an MME player, and I typically play somewhere from 1-5 lineups in higher stakes, smaller field tournaments. If you’re maxing out the Milly Maker, this probably isn’t the perfect article for you, but if you’re building one or a handful of lineups for the smaller fields like me, hopefully this will help in terms of lineup building process and all the different factors you should consider before clicking that submit button.

Every week, I think there are 3 main factors to dig into when building higher stakes tournament lineups –

1) Positional Pricing & Value

2) Game Environments

3) Ownership & Leverage

If you want to see some deeper definitions on those 3 factors, you can take a look at the past article here.

Let’s go ahead and get into Week 7 because boy oh boy do we have a doozy.
