CBB DFS Slate Breakdown: December 22nd

It is kind of strange getting so many conference games before New Years, but here we are still in 2020 and the weird things keep coming. It is kind of nice honestly, as there are are couple of really solid matchups tonight, so let’s get right into it.

Texas Tech (69), Tempo: 68

This is a nice tempo-up game here for the Red Raiders, but I am not sure that I can get on board with using Kyler Edwards ($6,000) after his bagel from the field in the last game. Sure, he still has 40 FP upside, but my goodness was that a terrible showing. Instead, we saw Terrence Shannon Jr ($6,300) finally break out of his 20ish minutes and play 32 (probably because Marcus Santos-Silva ($5,600) was in foul trouble and only played 19). With Kevin McCullar ($4,600) seeming more likely to play here (he was a game time decision in the last game, but did not play), we probably see Shannon see a bit under 30 unless Chris Beard really wants to trust him now. Micah Peavy ($4,900) also gets a small minus in minutes and that leaves Mac McClung ($6,800) as the only guy I feel comfortable getting 30 minutes in most scenarios.
